My training has given me a strong understanding of animal health, behaviour, and wellbeing. I love providing pets with the care, attention, and reassurance they need. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets and I always aim to make them feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I currently work in a kennels where I care for dogs daily, including feeding, exercise, cleaning and making sure they are comfortable and happy. I also volunteered at a veterinary practice before starting university, which gave me early experience working with animals in a professional environment. I have owned dogs and cats my whole life and currently have two dogs and two cats. Buddy is my English Bull Terrier and Coco is my Shar Pei, who is a rescue and can be reactive at times which has given me a lot of experience understanding dog behaviour and working with more challenging personalities. I also have two cats, Cookie and Colin and Cookie is a senior cat with arthritis so I’m very familiar with caring for older pets and managing their comfort. Buddy also has kidney disease, so I understand the importance of specialised diets, medication and monitoring health closely. Because of my own pets and my veterinary nursing training, I’m very confident providing patient, attentive care and making sure every animal feels safe, loved and comfortable. I have also pet sat for friends and always make sure pets receive plenty of love, exercise and routine so they feel safe and happy while their owners are away.

Safety, trust & environment
I currently offer pet care in the owner’s home rather than bringing pets to my own home. I find that many animals feel much more relaxed and comfortable staying in their familiar environment, where they have their usual routine, smells and surroundings. My priority is always making sure pets feel safe, calm and well cared for while their owners are away. As a veterinary nursing student, I am confident handling animals safely and recognising signs of stress or illness. I am experienced in administering medication, following specialised diets and making sure pets receive the care and attention they need. I will always follow the owner’s instructions closely to maintain their pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime and rest. I am also very happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand, such as going for a walk together with the owner and their dog. This allows the pet to get to know me first and helps everyone feel comfortable and confident before any booking.

Gabriella was amazing, this is my first time using the app and she was super lovley She reasured me and took such lovley care for bella, Made sure she was safe and showed her so muxh love And was very gentle puttting her in her crate She commicated with me the whole time as i needed it and left bella room super tidy Bella loved cuddleing her and for a new person really shows you the person she is. I can’t recommend Gabriella enough, she is incredible! Milo is elderly and arthritic, so it made such a difference having someone with veterinary nursing experience caring for him. She quickly recognised when he was becoming uncomfortable on his walk and adapted immediately by using his pram, which showed such great understanding and compassion for his condition. She also gave me really helpful diet and nutritional advice, and I felt completely reassured knowing that if anything seemed off with Milo, she would recognise it straight away and know exactly what to do. Her knowledge around illness, medication and senior dog care really sets her apart from a standard pet sitter. Milo was so well cared for, I received frequent photos and updates and I’ll definitely be using her again. Highly recommend! ⭐❤️
Gabi has looked after my dog and cats multiple times. She is reliable, sweet and an amazing care giver. I have a nervous dog who sometimes doesn’t take to people but took to Gabi immediately. She sends lots of updates and photos to make you feel at ease. 1000% recommend her for all your pet needs. She’s had amazing knowledge to help look after your pets young and old.
I first met Gabi at the vets when she gave my very diva dog, Sebastian, his second vaccination. He’s honestly such a snob and hates the vets, so I was genuinely shocked when he warmed to her straight away and was all over her, that never happens. I then had to travel last minute for work, and Gabi kindly stayed at my home to look after him. She was amazing. She sent me the cutest selfies of the two of them curled up on the sofa, which completely put my mind at ease. Sebastian has a very specific routine - Greek yoghurt and blueberries for breakfast, 75g of broccoli in the afternoon, and steak (medium rare) sweet potato and mixed veg for supper, he also has his paw and head massage 30 mins before bed with classical music on, and she followed everything perfectly. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Gabi clearly loves animals so much, and she was kind, respectful, and incredibly trustworthy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone 🤍

Schedule
I currently work mornings and afternoons at a kennels from 7:30am–12pm and 2pm–5pm, with a two-hour break during the day where I can return to care for pets. I’m available before work, during my lunch break and from 5pm onwards in the evening. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine, including feeding schedules and walks. If needed, I can do a morning walk, a walk during my lunch break and an evening walk. For dogs that enjoy more exercise, I’m also happy to take them to paddocks so they can have a safe run around and burn off energy. On Fridays I work an evening shift at a pub, so I would only be available with your pet from around 5pm–6pm before leaving for work and returning around midnight. Because of this I usually avoid Friday bookings, but I’m happy to discuss it with owners if this schedule still suits their pet. On Saturdays I work at the pub from 12pm–6pm, so I’m available in the morning and again in the evening. I am fully available on Sundays.
