Hey I'm Gabriella! With 5 years of fostering rescue dog experience, I have cared for a wide variety of breeds, activity levels, ages, medical needs, and behavioural issues -- they are all loved equally! I officially adopted my 7th foster, Zolah, in March 2021, she's the sweetest terrier mix who loves all dogs & people she has met. I'm currently living abroad in Ireland for the last 3.5 years, and Zolah is back in Canada with my family. I'm on Rover as I miss having a dog companion around and looking to open my home to a furry friend when I'm available. I have the flexibility to work from home all day and able to work flexible hours/take breaks to ensure your dog gets activity and belly rubs throughout the day. I live right around the corner from Merrion Square park on the ground level (minimal stairs) so I can easily take your dog out as often as they need. Whether your dog is super-laid back or loves running around, I will find the best way to care for them while you are away and always provide a ton of updates! Let me know your dogs favourite activities and I will be happy to cater to them! Can't wait to meet you and your pup! I require all the dogs to have up to date vaccination, house trained, not aggressive towards people and other dogs, and have an overall demeanour that still allows for non-distracted work to be done. Fox loves staying with Gabriella! She has watched him for daycare and overnights, and is great with communication for pick-up / drop-off and letting me know what he did during the day. Recommended!

It is always a nervous experience handing your dog over to someone you've just met. From the minute we met Gabriella we knew Woody was going to be well looked after, and he was. We will definately be booking with Gabriella again.
Gabriella was great! Fox seemed to enjoy his time there and was well taken care of. We will definitely book her service again.
Gabriella was wonderful. She took such good care of Ruby, had really good communication and kept me updated throughout. Would definitely recommend her!

Schedule
I work full-time and have the flexibility to work from home - when I get a request, that's typically when I do my WFH days :) For dog boarding, my preference is to first do a doggy daycare day to see if your pup and my space are a good match!

I have a small courtyard out the back and am around the corner from a large park which is where I typically take dogs for a walk - I'm about a 25 min walk from the beach so I also like to take them by there for longer visits

A typical day
During weekdays doggy daycare where I am working, I'm happy to bring dogs out on a long walk + 1-2 other shorter walks to the park around the corner. For dog boarding, I keep super active, am surrounded by dog friendly businesses, and love having my dogs around to join -- anytime I can bring them with me to a patio or a park day I will!
