This is our second time working with Ria. She opted not to check in and out with the Rover app, which we would have preferred she did. We never knew when she came or didn’t come because sometimes our Ring camera would ping but we’d get the update hours later or the next day. Ria came to see Nala for what would have been 5 days but became 4. She overbooked and couldn’t make it the first day, but I managed to get someone to help that day and she refunded the day she couldn’t come. Nala has hyperthyroidism and requires daily medication in the form of a compounded cat treat. If she doesn’t get her medication, she gets sick, vomits uncontrollably over and over, and exhibits erratic behavior. One of the days Ria was supposed to check in, we neither got an update from her nor did our Ring ping that someone entered our home. I texted her about it and she assured that she did come but that her text didn’t send. I told her that I was worried because Nala MUST get her medication daily (the whole reason we paid for drop ins). Something felt off. We just got home to a home covered in cat vomit. All over the floor, on the couch, in the bathrooms, on the counters. This is textbook missed-medicine. I’ve spent the better part of 2 hours after coming home from a flight cleaning something that should have been a non-issue. If she missed a day for whatever reason, I wish she would have told me. Suffice it to say we are really upset.

Sunny took to Ria immediately! Ria was very easy to communicate with, understood Sunny’s more complex feeding/medication needs, and made us feel very comfortable leaving Sunny with her.

Gabriella was very nice and responsive. She made sure that my cat Macallan was well taken care of and not missing his parents. Highly recommended!

Ria was great with our dog Coco! It was our first time leaving him with a dog sitter and she made the experience seamless for him, and us! :)
Ria is a true animal lover, and she was wonderful, attentive, and communicative during her stay with our dog and cat! She sent regular updates and photos, and even spent more time with them then I had originally asked because our dog seemed nervous. She was very patient in giving him time to get used to her, and I can tell that they were both so well loved while we were away, it gave me tremendous peace of mind! I will definitely be requesting Ria's services in the future!

Ria was an amazing cat sitter. She stopped in and took care of my girls, made sure Nala got her medicine, and gave them affection while I was gone. She was thorough and very responsive. I’m so glad I found her.

A typical day
I love to make sure that all my dogs are engaged both physically and mentally. As a fitness enthusiast I love the outdoors so, especially for those high energy dogs, I bring them to a dog park or on a nice hike so they have plenty of space to sniff and run around. For less active dogs (those that suffer from certain ailments) I bring them on a nice casual walk around the neighborhood (length of walk depends on dog’s ability). For those who prefer to play, I like bringing a few balls and a thrower for some excitement! Always open to suggestions as well.
