Hello! My name is Gabriele, and I’m a 27-year-old pet caretaker now based in Paris. I’ve been working on Rover since 2022 and have 10 wonderful repeat owners who trust me time and time again with their beloved pets. I’m a big dog lover and had my own dog, Bella (a Westie), who I cared for until her passing. While living in London, I built a strong network through Rover and looked after dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages — as well as cats. I always adapt to each pet’s unique personality and routine, whether that means long walks, energetic playtime, calm cuddles, or sticking to special feeding or medication schedules. I have flexible availability and can easily adjust to your pet’s needs and your schedule. I speak fluent English and conversational French (still learning!), so communication is easy. Now that I’ve moved to Paris, I’m excited to meet new four-legged friends (and their humans!). If you’re looking for a responsible, caring, and affectionate animal lover, I’d love to help. Your pet will always get the love and attention they deserve with me! In my teenage years, I volunteered at a dog shelter where I cared for dogs of all ages and sizes — cleaning their spaces, feeding them, playing with them, and taking them for walks. One of my proudest moments was rescuing a dog from abusive circumstances; he now lives happily with a loving family.

Gabriele was super friendly and a great pet sitter!! She sent information/pictures of our dog without us asking - which we thought was great. Familiar with our dog friendly neighbourhood and having good experiences with dogs, I would totally rebook her services if required
Gabriele was great, gave us detailed messages and pictures every day (even few times a day). It looked like Zorro was super comfortable and was treated like a family member. We were reassured knowing he was getting good care, and would definitely recommend Gabriele :)
Gabriele was such a great caretaker of our dog Holland! She was very communicative ahead of time, wanting to learn everything about Holland, and even making herself available for a meet/greet ahead of time. It was clear the she took great care and gave a lot of love.
Gabriele is the best! We've used her repeatedly and our dog loves her! Gabriele is wonderful with communication and in understanding the different personality types of dogs, she understands our little Mardi girl so well and takes exceptional care of her! We're so grateful!
Gabriele is incredible! We are so grateful we found her! Our dog loved her and Gabriele was amazing with communication, pictures, videos and lots of care! Gabriele is wonderful. Her calm temperament is perfectly matched to my pup's, she is utterly thorough, she sent lots of photographs, was accommodating to my request to drop off his kennel ahead of time and pick it up a few days later, she ALWAYS responded to messages within minutes, and - most of all - my pup jumps in circles when he sees her; a treat he only shares with his best friends.

I am able to provide a lot of flexibility and accommodation to your schedule. I am especially keen to take on longer-term boarding stays :)

Safety, trust & environment
I would learn the environment your dog is used to and would provide the needed safety and trust. I would also be active in the house by focusing my attention on the pet, making sure they feel safe and secure. If I am boarding your dog, rest assured, I live in a very spacious flat, which can accommodate even medium to large-size dogs.
A typical day
Fun activities depend on what kind of dog they are. By familiarising myself with the pet, I would adjust accordingly. Whether it would be fetching in the park, playing ball or simply strolling around.
