Safety, trust & environment

I am a firm believer of leaving a home better than when I left it! My goal is to make your pets feel as though there is no difference in their daily routine. I meet them with patience and affection. If they prefer a hands off approach I respect it, if they rather be glued to my lap, I’m all for it!

Information Gabriela M. would like to know about your pet

I appreciate any heads up about allergies, special needs, medications, chronic illnesses, and serious medical history. Working in emergency medicine I also prefer to know if your pet has a regular veterinarian for any unexpected visits or a preferred emergency hospital.

A typical day

I live to meet the needs of pets based on their energy levels and preferences. It helps if owners give a couple tips on their favorite things too!

Pet care experience

Hello! I have enjoyed pet sitting for friends, neighbors, and new people for many years. I received my B.S. in Animal Science in May 2025 and have been working as a veterinary assistant in an emergency and specialty hospital for the past year. Throughout my education and time out of school I have gained valuable experience working with companion animals, exotics, and livestock through positions in an animal shelter, farm, and wildlife rehabilitation center. In addition I am CPR and Fear Free certified for both dogs and cats. I will be attending vet school this Fall and hope to make some extra money to contribute to my tuition costs. I look forward to meeting your beloved pets!

Gabriela was an amazing cat sitter! She was incredibly kind, gave great updates, and was fantastic with our newly adopted cat over a week of house sitting. We did not have to worry for a single second. I would highly recommend her!

Gabriela pet sat my Rottweiler named blue over night for about a week. I was a bit nervous at first because he struggles with anxiety and he has very detailed care instructions. Gabriela followed the instructions amazingly, and went above and beyond by keeping be updated on how he was doing while I was away. She was very sweet and my dog felt very comfortable around her. I would definitely recommend her as a good caregiver for a pet, and she has extensive experience.
