Long time dog mama and animal lover
I’ve been a dog mama for nearly 10 years and have been around and loved animals my entire life. My husband and I both work from home and will take amazing care of your fur babies and give them lots of attention and exercise throughout the day. We have a 4 year old toy poodle that loves small and medium sized dogs, and a large fenced in backyard for the doggos to run around during the day. We will be loving and attentive to your dog and their needs throughout the stay, and will keep you posted with frequent updates and photos. Our dog is the center of our world and while caring for them, yours will be too. While we work during the day, we take frequent breaks to walk around the neighborhood and by the river (we typically walk several miles throughout the day). We also have a large backyard with plenty of space to romp around. We have a comfortable house in a safe and quiet neighborhood, with a large, private fenced in backyard. Inside the house, well behaved and potty-trained dogs are welcome to hang around on the couch or beds. If the stay is midweek and we’re working (from home) during the day, your dog will be entertained by our pup and will receive frequent walks throughout the day. On the weekends, we’re relatively active and can take your dog on several long walks or hikes if you’re comfortable with it.

My dog Moe had a great day with Gabriela and Joshua. Moe played, went for a walk and ran in their large back yard. I would trust them both anytime to care for my baby Moe. Brenda
Gabriela and Josh were fantastic care givers to our Havaneese ,Chip. The communication, and information was consistent and appreciated throughout Chips stay. We felt the Gabriela and Josh went above and beyond. They offered us suggestions about the area for activity, eating and local hangouts. This type of service made us feel comfortable with our choice, and that we made new friends. The care and compassion that Gabriela and Josh share for animals was comforting and shared our values as pet parents ?
Fenni is usually very afraid to meet new people but quickly warmed up to Joshua and Gabriela. They kept me updated with photos and videos and it made me so happy to see Fenni happily playing, running, wagging her tail, etc. I could tell Fenni was so happy! I will definitely use Joshua and Gabriela the next time I am in Durango!
Gabriela and Joshua, went above and beyond with my baby. They sent me loads of pics and videos all weekend while I was away. I could tell my dog was so happy and comfortable from the pictures. I confidently recommend your fluffy friend to stay with this lovely couple.
Gabriela & Joshua and their adorable fluffy pup were so attentive to our special needs (recent rescue from an abusive situation) dog, Ginger. Ginger spent the day with them and had the time of her life (hiking, playing in the securely fenced back yard, and snuggling in her bed when everyone was taking a break from all the fun. We needed a day-care situation as we were taking the Durango-Silverton train and had to drop her off at 8:00 AM and wouldn't be able to pickup until around 6:45 PM. No big kennel operation was able to do this, but Gabriela & Josh were very accommodating. I highly recommend contacting them for their availability if you're traveling with a smaller dog and need doggie care in Durango. They're the best!!!
Gabriela and Joshua were amazing with my older dog! I received consistent updates and photos. I felt so comfortable leaving my dog at their beautiful home with a fenced backyard in a safe neighborhood. Highly recommend!!
