During any brief times I’m away, they are securely settled in their private 8x4x6 kennels, complete with a cozy bed, blanket, toys, and fresh water. Moments of rest and bedtime will also take place in the same kennels. Any time pets are secured in their assigned kennels, they are video monitored by me 24/7, providing an extra layer of safety and peace of mind. I take trust very seriously and follow each pet’s routine, feeding schedule, and care instructions closely. With experience caring for pets of all breeds, sizes, and ages, I understand that every pet is unique and deserves personalized attention and patience. My fully fenced yard offers a safe, controlled space for playtime, exercise, and enrichment, allowing pets to burn energy while staying protected. To make sure your pet has the safest, happiest stay possible, I like to learn as much as I can before booking. Every dog is unique, and the more I know, the better I can care for them! Here are a few important things I ask about: - Temperament: How does your dog do with new people, other dogs, children, or unfamiliar environments? - Energy Level: Are they high-energy and playful, or more relaxed and low-key? - Daily Routine: Feeding schedule, potty schedule, walk preferences, bedtime routine, etc. - Medical Needs: Any medications, allergies, injuries, or health concerns I should be aware of? - Behavioral Concerns: Separation anxiety, resource guarding, leash reactivity, excessive barking, chewing, or escape tendencies. - Training & Commands: Crate trained? House trained? Any specific commands they know or are working on? - Triggers or Fears: Thunder, fireworks, vacuums, strangers, other animals, etc. - Dietary Restrictions: Food sensitivities or treats to avoid. - Emergency Contact Info: Preferred vet and backup contact. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. The more open and detailed you can be, the better experience we can create for your furry family member 💛
A typical day
Your pup’s day will be full of attention, structure, and plenty of tail wags! I like to keep a balanced routine so dogs feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. Our mornings usually start with a potty break and a nice walk around the neighborhood or my 1 acre fully-fenced property to stretch those legs and get some fresh air. After that, it’s breakfast time (following your exact feeding instructions, of course!) and a little relaxation while food settles. Midday includes playtime, whether that’s fetch in the yard, tug-of-war, enrichment toys, or a longer walk for high-energy dogs. I tailor activities to your dog’s age, energy level, and personality. Senior pups get gentle strolls and cozy naps, while energetic dogs get more active play to keep them engaged. In the afternoon, we wind down with some cuddle time, brushing (if they enjoy it), and another potty break. I send regular photo and video updates so you can see exactly how your furry friend is doing. Evenings include dinner, a final walk, and calm time to settle in for the night. If your dog has a specific routine, medication schedule, or favorite sleeping spot, I’m happy to follow it closely to help them feel right at home. My goal is to make their stay feel like a fun, safe second home, and to give you total peace of mind while you’re away. 🐶💛
