I currently work at a Petmedic Urgent Care about 5 minutes away from my apartment but have a pretty flexible schedule. I live with my boyfriend who was a dog groomer, as well as was getting trained to be a dog trainer. He currently works from home and is also on this app. Whenever I have a shift we tag team and he helps assures the pets are well taken care of!!! Scheduling meet and greets to ensure everyone gets along helps make sure this is okay:)

A typical day
A typical day when not at the clinic includes going to the dog park to let out any energy! If no dog parks, we have trails that we can go on long walks on! There’s a bin of toys every pet is welcome to play with in our home. Fresh water is set out all day long. Countless treats are also available for any pet this is allowed to have any. Endless cuddles are provided! and when it comes time to go night night, your furry friend is more then welcome to sleep on the bed🤍

Pet care experience
I have worked with animals ever since I could start working with them. When I was in middle school, I started volunteering with an animal rescue that specialized in labs and German shepherds. We also took in a lot of dogs that had mega-e, a condition in which their esophagus is enlarged and not able to receive foods or liquids to their stomachs properly. In cases like this I learned how to properly administer medications and foods to those animals to ensure they stay as healthy as they possibly can, it wasn't easy. I have fostered a numerous amount of dogs since then!! As soon as I was of age, I decided to work at dog daycares to gain more experience. There I learned how to groom ( nail trim, bathe, ear clean and teeth brushing), administer different medications and what to look for when a dog is stressed/ upset. I currently work at a vet clinic where I help assist our wonderful veterinarians in making sure every animal gets the care they need:)

Gabriela was an amazing sitter for our puppy Ziggy. She was very responsive and sent loads of updates. Clearly she loves dogs and really cares about them. She was open to adjust to our schedule more than once and was open to take him to her family’s lake house. I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone Loki for someone who cares and loves dogs.
Gabriela was great, my dog was unexpectedly very anxious while I was away, and she kept me updated through the week and made sure to take extra steps like having her mom watch him to make sure he was comfortable while she had to go to work. I would definitely recommend Gabriela to anyone needing a sitter!
Gabriela watched our three dogs for a weekend and she was wonderful! Some of our dogs had a few hiccups while they were there and she handled it so well and was so communicative and great!
Gabriela was a wonderful sitter for my puppy. Firstly, she was very kind and flexible about timing. I had to adjust the original days I requested. She also dropped him off for me. But most importantly, she just took great care of him. Was attentive to his feeding schedule and making sure he got enough food. It was clear he had a great time with her. I felt like he was safe and loved in her care.
