I’ve had a lifelong passion for dogs, starting with training and showing medium-to-large dogs in 4-H from ages 10–13, including entering a dog in agility competitions. More recently, I worked for several months at a doggy daycare and training facility, gaining hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I’ve also helped raise three litters of puppies, finding them loving homes, and I’ve completed an online course in dog safety and health. I have a deep understanding of dogs’ needs and behaviors, whether it’s caring for energetic puppies, supporting senior dogs, or managing special training challenges. Fun fact: when I was five, I was seriously injured by a pack of dogs—but that experience only strengthened my respect for them and my commitment to working safely and confidently with all kinds of dogs.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always respect the space and follow the routine and preferences laid out by the owner. I keep things calm, clean, and consistent — whether that’s sticking to feeding times, giving meds if needed, or making sure your pup gets the right amount of exercise and attention. I pay close attention to body language and behavior, so I can respond to a pet’s needs with care and patience. Safety and comfort are top priorities, and I treat every pet as if they were my own — with kindness, respect, and lots of love.

Gabriel was great! Not only did he have the courage to watch four dogs, he fixed a toilet that got clogged with dog waste. All our doggies were happy and healthy when we returned. I have no reservations about making use of his skills again.
We’re excited to have Gabriel take care of Stella and potentially housesit for us!
Gabriel was an awesome pet sitter Tupac to puck! I had a last-minute request because I was moving and he totally accommodated us and I could tell my dog felt very happy with Gabriel.

Caring for pets is a natural part of my routine. I love having consistent time to walk, play with, and monitor the animals I care for. I make sure every pet gets attention, exercise, and mental stimulation every day while keeping a flexible schedule to accommodate walks, feedings, and any special needs. Whether it is a quick check-in, a longer walk, or extended stays, I integrate pet care seamlessly into my week so that every dog or cat feels happy, safe, and well-loved.
