During that time, I fostered dogs, trained puppies, and assisted at spay and neuter clinics. I am active and enjoy running with dogs, which makes me a great match for high-energy pets. In addition to my dog experience, I have worked with horses and lived with cats, giving me a strong understanding of animals with different needs and personalities. Gabriel was an excellent sitter for our dog. He is very personable and was very attentive with Murphy. He even took him for a walk while we were out. I will definitely contact Gabriel again when we come back to Black Mountain.
Gabe is literally the best pet sitter you can find. Honest, caring, communicative, and tidy. He made our trip seamless with the care of our pets. You will not be disappointed.
Gabriel is a very compassionate person and a great pet sitter. He is gentle enough to bond with a cat around the house but can also take an energetic dog on a long hike to get their zoomies out. He worked with a vet rehabilitating street dogs in Guatemala so he knows how to administer medications and care for/train dogs that might be nervous or aggressive. He has experience caring for farm animals as well like horses, chickens, goats, ect. Highly recommended sitter!
Gabriel did such an excellent job caring for our home and pets, that we always call him first when we need a sitter. He is dependable and trustworthy. leaves our home in better shape than we left it, and our animals love him. We could enjoy our time away with absolute confidence that our home and furbabies were well cared for.

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule and can provide pet care 24/7. Most of my time is spent managing and maintaining my property, which gives me a steady routine and plenty of availability for pets. I enjoy being active and outdoors, so I’m happy to take dogs for walks, spend quality time with cats, and ensure all pets receive consistent attention, exercise, and care throughout the day.

I live on a quiet dead-end road in the woods, right by a river, providing a peaceful and secure environment for pets. I have a friendly cat to keep other animals company when appropriate. I also care for pets in their own homes, spending time training, walking, and engaging them safely outdoors. I am attentive and vigilant, ensuring pets are happy, supervised, and well-cared for at all times.

A typical day with your dog is active, enriching, and full of love! Your pup will get plenty of outdoor time, whether that’s long walks, sniffing adventures, or even a run if they’ve got energy to burn. I love keeping dogs both physically active and mentally engaged. We might practice basic obedience skills, play games that challenge their minds, or work on leash manners and impulse control, all in a fun, positive way. Every interaction is a chance to build trust and keep their minds sharp. If your pet is more laid-back, we’ll take things at their pace: cozy hangouts, gentle walks, and lots of attention and affection. I stick closely to your pet’s routine, so they feel comfortable and confident while you’re away. You’ll get regular updates, photos, and honest communication so you’ll always know how your furry friend is doing.
