I currently work part time with very flexible hours so I am frequently available to provide service to both my own pets and others. I find it very fulfilling to be able to make time for my own furry friends!

Working in a shelter environment I often met many animals at their lowest when they were beyond scared and upset. I got exposure to many dogs and cats that were horribly unadapted to life around people and had personalities on either end of the spectrum. I am more than comfortable with animals that are more aggressive in both appearance and personality and was frequently tasked with retrieving abandoned or lost animals using the company van.

I'm comfortable with all temperaments, personalities, and energy levels. Just let me know what their needs are and I will meet them. I'm comfortable with administering medication as that was one of my daily job duties when working in a shelter.
A typical day
I love to play with animals both as an active or inactive participant depending on their needs. Walks are honestly the best way for me to keep myself and the animals around me in shape

Pet care experience
I worked full time for a shelter and loved working with every animal there. Meeting them at their level so that their needs were completely fulfilled was my passion. Whether they were high or low energy, dim or bright, friendly or not, I thrived on figuring out what would make the the most adoptable and what would make them most comfortable in the harsh shelter environment. It was a difficult and demanding job at times especially when I needed to provide first aid or medication/therapy for ailing animals but I always enjoyed coming home knowing I did something that meant something to those parent-less pets. I also had the lovely opportunity to work the social media for the shelter and take photos and videos of each animal to best display their personalities to the wider public who wouldn't normally see them otherwise.

Gabe is so good with animals! The first time over to my house, all my dogs flocked immediately to say hi🥰(they tend to be nervous with new people but felt comfortable enough to come and greet). Not afraid of responsibility and very reliable. I have only a few people I trust with my animals and Gabe is certainly one of them. 10 out of 10 would recommend!😁
