A typical day
A typical day with the pets I care for starts with a morning walk to get them energized and ready for the day. After a walk, we’ll spend some time playing in the yard, whether it’s fetch, tug of war, or simply running around and enjoying the fresh air. I like to incorporate both physical and mental stimulation throughout the day, so there may be interactive toys or puzzle games to keep their brains active and engaged. Throughout the day, we’ll have plenty of cuddle time, where I’ll give them attention, affection, and plenty of belly rubs or ear scratches. Whatever makes them feel the most comfortable. If the dog enjoys treats, I'll offer a few here and there as part of our training or playtime sessions, reinforcing good behavior and rewarding them for being good pups. If the weather allows, we'll enjoy another walk in the afternoon, followed by a relaxation period, either napping in their favorite spot or lounging with me as I work from home. Depending on your pet's preferences, I also love incorporating playdates with other dogs or introducing fun new activities that keep them entertained and happy. Each dog I care for has their own special needs and routines, so I tailor the day to match their individual preferences and energy levels, ensuring they are always safe, happy, and well cared for.

Though my background with dogs didn’t start in my own home, I’ve had the privilege of caring for dogs of various breeds and temperaments over the years. From puppies to senior dogs, I understand how to provide tailored care based on each dog’s unique needs. I live in a dog friendly home with a spacious, fenced in yard where your dog can run, play, and explore safely. Inside, I ensure there’s plenty of room for your dog to relax, and I always supervise them, ensuring they are never left alone for long periods. I’m available to care for your dog on both weekdays and weekends, offering flexible drop offs and pick ups to accommodate your schedule. (Please note that currently I cannot dog sit at my current location due to construction, however, I’m more than happy to dog sit at your place if needed). We were thankful to find Gabriel to stay with our senior husky in our home. Our dog does best with a consistent schedule and a person nearby. Gabriel was home most of the time which helped our dog be very relaxed while we were away. We appreciated the daily photos and communication. Gabriel also did a great job taking care of the house.
We had a great experience with Gabriel! He took such wonderful care of our dogs and house! It was clear the dogs were comfortable and well cared for, and he kept us updated which we really appreciated. He was also very flexible with our timing, which made everything so much easier. On top of that, we came home to a house that was honestly cleaner than we left it. We would absolutely trust him with our dogs again and highly recommend him!
