I’m a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) specializing in walking reactive, anxious, and fearful dogs. I work with dogs who bark, lunge, pull, or fixate on people or other dogs, and I focus on keeping walks safe, low-stress, and enjoyable. I’m comfortable handling strong, large, or high-arousal dogs. My approach is force-free. I prioritize building trust and helping dogs feel secure, rather than putting them in situations they aren’t ready for. For clients interested in long-term progress, I also offer training to help change a dog’s emotional response over time using positive reinforcement. My background includes training shelter dogs at PAWS, teaching reactivity and manners classes at Seattle Humane, and working at Ahimsa Dog Training. I’ve also worked extensively with my own reactive dog over several years. I live with my Great Pyrenees, Ash, and provide calm, attentive care for every dog I work with.
