I’m a lifelong dog lover with lots of experience caring for pups of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I grew up with a Lab, my husband and I had a German Shepherd mix for 12 years (so I’m very familiar with sweet senior energy and all the extra care that comes with it), and now I have Ollie—a high-energy, young husky/german shep mix who keeps life fun and active! Because of Ollie, I’m especially comfortable with large, energetic breeds and understand the structure, exercise, and attention they need to thrive. He LOVES having dog friends around and is incredibly friendly, but he can be a persistent playmate—so if your dog prefers a quieter environment, it might not be the best fit (totally get it… my last dog was the “fun police” too). I work from home, so your dog will get lots of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I also live right by trails, so daily walks and outdoor time are part of our routine. My home is very much a “dogs on the furniture, snuggles in bed” kind of home, and I treat every dog like they’re my own. I know how hard it is to find someone you truly trust with your pet, so I’m big on communication and will send plenty of updates and photos so you always feel connected. I’ve even talked about getting a second dog, so Rover has been a perfect way Ollie to have more furry friends around in the meantime.
