In addition to living with and caring for dogs most my life, I have 2 years of experience working at a dog boarding and training facility called in Oakland, CA. In addition to playgroup and boarding I spent time as a dog trainer, working with our clients to tackle a range of goals from basic obedience training to more challenging behavioral issues. I have worked with many types of dogs, of all ages and temperaments, and feel comfortable working with older dogs and those who may need medication or other specific care needs. Though I no longer work with dogs at my regular job, I sometimes miss working with them and would be glad to assist individuals who want to ensure their pets get adequate exercise and attention during the busy workweek or while traveling. I also have a dog of my own, a 6 year old chihuahua mix named Kiki who loves going on hiking adventures!

During our initial consultation I will discuss your safety concerns and practices with your dog and within your home. These could include things like fencing, traffic and other conditions to be aware of in your neighborhood, your dogs general physical health, and off limits areas in your home or neighborhood.

Gabe was good with our dog and three cats. Gabe was willing to help out in a pinch when our return flight was delayed. Gabe sent a few pictures and replied to messages in a timely manner.
