Since getting a chronic illness looking after dogs is my full time dog, I have a flexible, open schedule and will be able to give your dog my full attention at all times. Each day your dog will get an interesting 45- 1.5 hour & walk, play & sniff in my large garden, and even go swimming in the river if they wish! I ensure they also have lots of down time, to sleep and not get over stimulated.

I have a large garden for dogs to run around in and kitchen/bedroom/summer house area for when the weather isn’t good. I have fences on either side of my garden and an electric large gate by the entrance of my house. The back of my garden does have steps down onto the river stour but I always monitor them when they are down there. I follow the owners feeding, medication schedule. I will follow all your guidelines, for example I allow dogs to sleep on my bed but if you do not want this I won’t allow it.

- what is their recall like? - are there any areas where their recall goes out of the window?- near birds/ beach etc - are they reactive? - are they social with other dogs? Some days we have up to 6 dogs here. - can they rest or sleep well -crate trained - food or item possessive -anxious - If they dislike certain things/ things to avoid.

Your dog can enjoy my large garden and splashing around in the river at the end of our garden; which I would always monitor. My health can vary from day to day but there are often a couple of dogs booked in for them to socialise with! I am home all day so your dog will always be in my attention/ presence. I just adore dogs so I will be giving them plenty of love and fuss. I understand that one can be anxious about leaving your dog but I always send photo updates and messages to you during the day to ease any worries you may have. Please feel free to bring any bedding, crate (if this would benefit your dog to have some solo downtime), toys, food you feel they would want. No need to bring tennis balls as Ralph manages to find one on every walk we go on and have around 30!!

I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. Ive had a springer spaniel and now have a cocker spaniel (aged 10).In the last 2 years I have been relied on by friends, family & clients to look after their dogs; providing walks, company, cuddles, feeding and giving medication & this is now my full time job! I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes, ranging from cavapoos to Rottweilers & standard labroddles. I have currently looked over 60+ different dogs. Every local owner has rebooked🥰. I understand that dogs are your whole world and you want someone else to love them & care for them as much as you do. Whilst your dog is with me I will do just this, I treat each dog as if they were my own. I am DBS checked and dog first aid.

We are so happy that we found Gabby to look after our 9 month puppy! Communication was great from the start with quick replies to our messages and during the stay we were provided with lots of photos and videos which clearly showed our pup was having a great time! Gabby is very professional, responsible and clearly loves dogs. She was quick to establish a good relationship with our puppy and we were confident leaving him in her care. Her home has lovely grounds for the dogs to relax in and play. The river access was a huge hit with our water loving Labrador! All in all a brilliant first experience. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Gabby again or recommend to others. Thank you 😊
