Pet care is a natural part of my daily life! As a nurse, I work only 3 days a week, which means I’m home the majority of the week with plenty of time and energy to care for pets. On my days off, I plan my routine around feeding, walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddle sessions. Even on the days I’m working, my husband, who has just as much experience with dogs as I do, takes over to ensure pets are safe, happy, and cared for. We truly enjoy having dogs around and treat every one like our own!

In my home, pets are treated like part of the family! We have a fully fenced backyard in a quiet, safe neighborhood, perfect for pups to run, play, and get plenty of fresh air. Inside, there’s lots of space for lounging and relaxing, and I always make sure pets are comfortable, well-fed, and getting plenty of love and attention throughout the day. Whether it’s playtime, mealtime, or just some cozy cuddles, I follow each pet’s routine closely to make sure they feel right at home.

A typical day
Every pup is different, so I tailor our time together based on their personality and energy level! For the active pups, we’ll enjoy playtime in our fenced backyard: fetch, tug-of-war, and plenty of zoomies! For the more laid-back pets, there’s lots of cozy cuddle time, gentle walks, and quiet companionship. We also go on neighborhood strolls, give plenty of belly rubs, and keep brains busy with interactive toys and games. Whether your dog loves running around or just relaxing by my side, they’ll get the attention, affection, and fun they need to feel happy and safe while you're away!

Pet care experience
I recently relocated from Greenville, South Carolina, to the Winston Salem area. While I'm new to the area, I'm not new to pet care! I've been a lifelong dog owner and have over five years of experience caring for dogs. I'm excited to start building new relationships with pet parents here in Winston Salem. I'm a registered nurse, so providing safe, dependable, and compassionate care comes naturally to me. My career has taught me to stay calm under pressure, pay close attention to detail, and follow routines and special instructions carefully-all qualities that also make me an excellent pet sitter. Whether your pet needs medication, has a specific routine, or simply loves extra attention, I'm happy to accommodate their individual needs. I'm comfortable caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and energy levels-from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and care. I understand that every pet has their own personality, and I take the time to build trust so they feel comfortable, loved, and secure while you're away. Whether it's walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, or plenty of cuddles, my goal is to make your pet feel as happy and relaxed as possible. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family member, and I treat every pet as if they were my own.

We were in town for a wedding and had Frida watch our dog during the event. Before we dropped off our dog, she sent a message asking if it was okay to bath our dog because she knew he would get muddy playing in her backyard since it was raining. Wow! How considerate. We have a 70lb doddle so bathing him is a chore. I definitely recommend using Frida.

Frida is trustworthy and reliable! She has watched my dog, Ryder, on multiple occasions and has always done such a good job! Frida is easy to communicate with and always keeps you updated on your pet (and sends sweet pics of them)! If you need pet sitting, Frida is the one to go to!
