I currently work 20 hours a week (5x four hour shifts) so I have the rest of the day to look after pets. I care for my own pets morning and night so I am confident I can make yours happy.

I have a fenced back garden where my own dogs are free to go in and out the house all day as the back door is always open, unless it’s raining. If I were to care for your pets in your home, I’d follow the routine you’ve set for them, making sure they are comfortable around me as some dogs can be nervous around new people. I’d give them fusses if they allowed me and play with them.

Please let me know the typical behaviour of your pet, just so I know how they’ll act during the service. Also let me know of any medical issues that your dog has or any medication it needs. I’m not bothered by the breed of dog, but I would like to know the temperament of the dog on walks, so I know if they’d pull on the lead or if they like being let off.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks and play games with them, especially fetch which also helps with their recall skills. I also like taking the dogs to new areas where they haven’t walked before so they can see new places and smell a new area.

Pet care experience
I’ve always had animals around me, ever since I was a baby. I’ve cared for exotic animals as well as cats and dogs, I currently have 2 dogs, Freddie and Willow. They are my family and I love them to bits. I also have a Level 3 Technical Diploma in Animal care and management where, during my course, I cared for all types of animal.

I believe that Freya would be an excellent caregiver for many pets due to her kind and considerate nature. Throughout my time of knowing her she has always expressed an interest in caring for animals especially dogs including physiotherapy and healthcare, together we studied level 3 animal management where in practical sessions she continuously worked to provide the best possible care she could while also looking for improvements in her practice. From this I believe her to be a dedicated and effective individual who has the education and relevant knowledge to support her within this role.
Freya would make a great pet sitter for anyone with her loving charm for all sorts of pets especially dogs. She is a trustworthy, caring person with high knowledge of animal care and high knowledge of safety along with it. She is great at communicating and strong at handling situations, therefore would be great at pet sitting and 100% would recommend.
