Pet care experience
big or small, I care for them all
I grew up with dogs of all shapes and sizes, from high-strung Schnauzers, cuddly labradoodles to majestic Beaucerons. In adulthood, I’ve become deeply involved in the Beauceron community, helping train and compete with our dogs at Crufts, participating in agility and sheep herding, and even taking part in man-trailing (which involved me hiding in the woods while my dog, Archer, tracked me down with impressive focus and dedication!). Thanks to consistent training and care, in 2022 Archer was awarded Beauceron of the Year by the Beauceron Club UK—a moment of great pride for our family.

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I am a qualified teacher and have much experience caring for children following the guidance of their parents. This translates into caring for pets as I am sure to remain respectful and listen to each animal's requirements and follow the guidance from the owner. I am warm and patient and it is my top priority to ensure each animal feels safe and confident in my care.
Ratings and reviews
Freya has lived with a variety of dogs since she was born, Boxer, Bullmastiff, Bulldog, 2 Schnauzers, Labradoodle and 2 Beaucerons. She has always helped to look after them, walking, feeding, grooming, training and giving them those special cuddles that are so important. She has also house sat and looked after friends dogs, Border Terriers and German Shepherds. They have always been really pleased to see her and will drag their owners along the path to see her. She has always a natural affinity with animals and I wouldn't hesitate to leave my animals with her.

Schedule
I am currently working from home so have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your furry friends. I can have availability on all days of the week with appropriate notice.
