Highlights
Pet care experience
I’m pawsitive I will love your pet
I have taken care of many kinds of pets since I was a child. I’ve tended to animals of all ages from seniors all the way to newborns. I worked in a dairy goat farm for around 4 years. Most of my work involved feeding, administering treatments, grooming, and general care for the dogs and goats on the farm. I also worked in zoos, where I cared for a wide array of species. Some of my favorites included penguins, sea lions, and giant tortoises. (Although I’m assuming that the average Rover member will not be requiring penguin care… I am prepared!) I love all animals, and understand the importance that pets have in a person’s life. I am committed to giving your pet the best care possible and am so excited to meet your animals!!
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I live in an apartment with 2 others where we have 4 rooms altogether that your pet will be able to access. There is no yard but the surrounding area is easily walkable and I will be happy to take your pet on as many walks/give them as much outside time as needed. I have no problem with pets on the furniture, but am willing to abide by whatever rules, schedules, or boundaries that you have set for your animals. If your pet is being boarded at my home over a weekday there is the possibility that I will not be home the entire day, however my roommates are avid animal lovers and one person will usually always be home while the other is away.
Ratings and reviews
Freya was wonderful to work with! Timely with communication, shared lots of photos, and provided updates around care as needed. Cannot recommend Freya enough and will definitely be my first call the next time I need a sitter
