5* Care & Country Walks
Growing up with dogs and now sharing my home with three of my own, caring for them is simply part of everyday life. Living on a working arable farm in the beautiful Perthshire countryside means dogs in my care* enjoy plenty of fresh air, enrichment and attention, whether that's an exciting countryside walk, a game in our fully fenced garden or simply relaxing indoors after a busy day. I understand that every dog is different. Some thrive on adventure and exercise, while others prefer a slower pace, extra reassurance or plenty of cuddles. I'm happy to adapt to your dog's individual routine, whether that's sticking to feeding schedules, administering oral medication, reinforcing basic training, or providing calm companionship for nervous or senior dogs. Reliability, communication and treating every dog as if they were my own are incredibly important to me. I'll always keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, safe and well cared for while you're away. *Please note that my resident dogs are all unspayed females, so for everyone's safety I can only accept female dogs and neutered male dogs for daycare or boarding. However, I'm delighted to walk or visit dogs of any sex for drop-in visits and walks.

Freya has grown up with dogs and animals all her life, and caring for them has always come naturally to her. Over the years she has regularly looked after dogs for friends and family, including senior dogs who needed extra patience, care and attention. Animals have always been a huge part of her life. Alongside her three dogs, she also cares for cats, chickens and horses, so she is experienced in understanding different personalities, routines and individual needs. Whether it's energetic young dogs who love long walks or older dogs who enjoy a slower pace and plenty of affection, she adapts her care to suit each pet.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, as I work from home on a freelance marketing basis. This means I'm home throughout the day and can provide plenty of company, supervision and regular toilet breaks rather than leaving dogs for long periods. Living on a working arable farm also means we're outdoors several times a day, so walks, playtime and enrichment are simply part of everyday life. I can easily adapt to your dog's usual routine, whether they enjoy long countryside walks, shorter strolls, or prefer a slower pace. I'm available for walks, drop-in visits, daycare and boarding throughout the week and at weekends, offering flexible care to suit your dog's needs.

Your dog's safety and happiness are my top priorities. We live on a working arable farm in the beautiful Perthshire countryside with a fully enclosed, secure garden where dogs can safely play, explore and relax. Inside, dogs are treated as part of the family. They have access to a dedicated utility room where my own dogs sleep, and I can easily separate dogs using internal doors if anyone prefers their own space or needs quieter time. I always introduce dogs carefully and supervise interactions to ensure everyone is comfortable. I'm happy to follow your dog's normal routine, including feeding schedules, medication, training cues and sleeping arrangements wherever possible. You'll also receive regular photo and video updates, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your dog is happy, settled and well cared for. As my three resident dogs are unspayed females, I can only accept female dogs and neutered male dogs for daycare and boarding. However, I'm very happy to provide walks and drop-in visits for all dogs.
