Nature buff who loves cats and dogs
I am a highly responsible young professional that has been surrounded by animals my entire life. I grew up with cats and an australian cattle dog, and more recently cared for a sweet little shih tzu that my parents adopted. With also a background in horseback riding, I am entirely comfortable taking care of animals if all shapes and sizes! While I don’t currently have pets in my own home, I regularly pet-sit for friends and family. I have experience providing walks, drop-in visits and multi-day sitting for a variety of animals, including so far australian shepherds, greyhounds, cats and more. I am a very active person with a deep love for nature and the outdoors. I am always thrilled to take your furry companions on long walks or outdoor adventures as they want or need!

Safety, trust & environment
My home environment is best suited for small dogs and cats. I live in a condo, but it's very close to a wooded area with trails that allow for walks in a peaceful, safe location. For care outside my home, I'm happy to adapt to your needs!

Frederique has looked after our family's dogs for years, and I've never seen animals take to someone the way they take to her — in fact, our dog Willow might like her more than she likes anyone else in the family. Frederique is calm, attentive, and genuinely loves the work: she remembers each dog's quirks, sticks to their routines, and never cuts a walk short. I'd trust her with any pet of mine without hesitation.
Fred has taken care of both of my Australian Shepherds on multiple occasions. They absolutely adore her! She plays with them, takes them on wonderful adventures around town and really makes them part of the family. 10/10 recommend!

Schedule
I recently completed my master’s degree at Yale and will be starting my new job at the end of September, which leaves me with several weeks of great availability. To combine business with pleasure, I’d love to use this time to spend time with animals while earning a little extra income. Because of this, I can offer a very flexible schedule with plenty of open time slots for the rest of the summer.
