Currently, I am a stay-at-home mom. This means I have plenty of time and flexibility to care for your dog. Our kids are very respectful and gentle with animals, but we kindly ask to only sit dogs that are comfortable and friendly around kids.

Hi, I’m Franziska! 🤗 I’ve been surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember; dogs, cats, parakeets, guinea pigs, horses... Today our family includes my husband, our two kind and animal-loving kids (ages 5 and 6), and our two wonderful dogs 🐕💕🐩: A Golden Retriever (3 years old, trained therapy dog, calm, gentle, and well-mannered) and a Shih Tzu (3 years old, rescue girl, playful and social). Both get along great with other dogs and are used to sharing the house with fosters, we’ve hosted several rescue pups from a local rescue I volunteer for. We have a big fully fenced backyard and a lovely park just behind the house, perfect for walks and playtime. I usually take the dogs out for two walks a day, and they’re free to roam and relax anywhere inside the house (couches and beds included 🛋🛏). If your pup joins us, they’ll be treated like part of the family, with lots of love, cuddles and care! 🐾🥰

This was our first time using Rover for our sweet boy and Franziska treated him like one of her own. We were very nervous as our pup can be anxious in new places and we were so relieved that he started to come out of his shell by the end of the short stay. Thank you again for taking care of our baby boy and giving him so much love. ❤️

Franziska is incredibly capable and dedicated when it comes to caring for dogs and other animals. She has had pets of all kinds throughout her life and is constantly educating herself on the best, most species-appropriate care practices. Her love for animals goes beyond just being a pet owner, she treats them with the same respect and kindness as she does people. In her free time, she volunteers for animal shelters and fosters dogs from local rescues, providing them with a safe and loving environment. Franziska has also instilled a compassionate approach to animals in our children from the day they were born, teaching them to respect and care for all living beings. I have no doubt that she will give any pet in her care the same love and attention she gives to our own animals.
