From an early age I have been surrounded by dogs, cats, horses, fins, and furries. As a pet guardian myself I know how important trust, patience, and flexibility is. Confident with small to large dogs, grumpy to sassy cats, including pets who need a little more understanding and special care due to reactivity or nerves. I have been dog/cat sitting for over 7 years and genuinely enjoy spending time getting to know their little personalities. Bodza the Staffy cross who lives with me is a reactive dog with a lot of energy so I'm used to having my hands full. For this reason I am only able to offer dog walks (without her) and drop ins at your home. Training I have undertaken with Bodza includes 121 and group obedience including loose lead walking, general commands, and recall; scent training with UK Sniffer Dogs; Dog reactivity support; and I have recently enrolled on a Canine First Aid course. Please let me know any specific needs, or preferences, to make your pet's experience exactly what they need and enjoy the most 🐾

Really good communication and took care of everything. Very patient even when my cats were being shy and she was good at giving them the time to come out to play and take medication. It was really good getting pictures of them daily and knowing they were taken care of.

Schedule
I work from home during the week so tend to be available morning and evening, and I am also available some lunchtimes and most weekends.

I will care for your pet as if my own with care, love and attention, however I am also aware that they each come with different needs, so please do share as much information as you like about their routine, preferences, and boundaries. I promise to follow your requirements closely, and provide a report back.
Pets
A typical day
A typical day really depends on what your pooch or kitty likes and is used to. First thing, toilet time and breakfast. Followed by some cuddles and gentle play and/or training. Walks are weather permitting (not too hot, not too cold). An evening might be dinner, more play/training, some grooming before relaxing on the sofa. If your dog has a specific routine, let me know.
