I have a tendency to talk to my dogs, and others dogs, like a crazy person... but I promise I am not crazy. I find the level of attention they feel coming from you is amplified when you speak to them, even if they don't understand what you are saying, lol! I have an athletic dogs as well as a lap dog myself and I am therefore used to medium and high energy levels from them. My condo unit is filled with sun and nice and warm in the colder months. Dogs are allowed to roam when I am home and also my furniture is pet-friendly. I play catch and tug of war with one of my dogs and take them on walks daily. I am happy to do all the same things with someone's pet, or more if the particular dog requires.
