Hi, my name is Frani and I would like to share a little bit about me with you. My family owned and operated a grooming and boarding business for 40 years. We boarded many types of dogs and cats as well as a pet snake, and even a pet sheep. I grew up surrounded by all kinds of animals and literally cut my teeth on the handle of a dog brush. As an adult I have worked in grooming parlors, private animal rescues and city animal shelters. I have a life-time connection with animals. I have experience with dogs of all types, as well as their different personalities. I have cared for the whole spectrum from Irish wolfhounds to teacup poodles. My experience also includes 3 years as a supervisor at a city animal shelter. My duties at the shelter included feeding and exercising the shelter animals, giving them their shots and medication, and temperament testing and obedience training. I have worked with many types of dogs and cats in a work environment as well as at home. Many of the dogs and cats who came to the shelter had special needs, some needed socializing, others needed physical activity to control hyperactivity. I have also worked with very young feral cats socializing them in order to be adoptable. I have plenty time on my hands and would love to spent it with your pets! I am available to house-sit, do drop-ins and dog walking 7 days a week. I work for my self as an artist and have a very flexible schedule. When taking care of pets in the home I will ask owners for a detailed itinerary for their pet(s) care, as well as any house rules they may have while I'm trusted to access their home.
