Your pet's routine comes first. We adapt to their schedule,not the other way around. Whether they're early risers, love long naps, need medication at specific times, or have their own little rituals, we'll do our best to keep everything as close to home as possible. We also adapt to you. Some owners love receiving photos and updates every morning and evening, while others prefer just the occasional check-in. We're happy to communicate as much or as little, as you'd like.

We keep a calm, clean and safe environment and only accept pets that are a good fit for our resident animals. Before every booking, we'd love to learn about your pet's routine, personality, medical needs, favourite activities and anything else that helps them feel comfortable. The more we know, the better we can make their stay feel like home. We also believe in transparency. If anything seems out of the ordinary, we'll let you know right away, and you'll receive updates throughout your pet's stay according to your preferences. Our goal is simple: for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is safe, happy and well cared for.

Pet care experience
Hey guys! Welcome to our humble abode. We figured out a long time ago that this isn't really our home anymore, it belongs to the wonderful pets that come through our door, along with our two resident supervisors, Billy and Phoebe. I'm Fran, and I've been pet sitting since 2017. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I've always had pets of my own, volunteered at animal shelters whenever I could, and love getting to know each animal's unique personality. My wonderful husband, Dennis, is my partner in crime, and together we love opening our home to pets. We've done pet sitting full-time while living abroad through Pawshake, and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences we've shared. Many of our clients have become genuine friends, which says everything about the kind of relationships we hope to build. When your pet stays with us, they're part of the family. They'll spend their days with us, join our daily routine, get plenty of attention, and make themselves comfortable wherever they decide is their favourite spot! Now, let us introduce the real bosses of the house: Billy is our calm and gentle 14-year-old dog. We adopted him four years ago as a senior, and he's been the sweetest companion ever since. Like many older dogs, he enjoys peaceful company and gets along much better with female dogs, so for everyone's comfort we only host females. Phoebe joined our family a few months ago after we adopted her. She's very relaxed around dogs and mostly likes doing her own thing. Because she shares the house with everyone, visiting dogs need to be comfortable around cats. We're also happy to host cats, as long as they're used to living alongside a dog. We welcome both dogs and cats into our home, and we've also cared for other small animals (ferrets...love them btw) in their own homes. Every pet has their own personality, routine and little quirks, and we do our best to make them feel safe, relaxed and loved while they're with us. We know how difficult it can be to leave your pet with someone else. Our goal is simple: to make them feel like they've come to stay with family until it's time for you to pick them up.
