Dog wizard with flexible schedule
I was raised in a pet friendly household growing up. I played with frogs, birds, chickens, insects, cats, and dogs during my childhood. With this upbringing, it feels natural taking care of any kind of pet. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to large, high-energy dogs. Through this, I’ve learned to identify natural body language and recognize subtle signals that indicate comfort, stress, or preference, allowing me to adjust care to each dog’s individual needs. Through our own pups (Mars and Ellie), I learned to care for dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know what makes each one unique. I’ve become very attuned to the signals dogs give—whether they’re feeling playful, anxious, or just want space—so I can make sure they feel safe and happy. One of the most important detail about dog sitting is the information that the owner provides about their baby. I make sure these details are taken into consideration when looking after their pets.

Francis was awesome! He asked great questions during our meeting and made us feel at ease the whole time. He was also super attentive to our boys and was able to handle them very well. Definitely be rebooking his services again and would recommend him to anyone looking for somebody to care for their furbabies.
Francis was absolutely amazing with our dogs and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. He was attentive, reliable, and clearly cared for them like they were his own. Our dogs all have different personalities and routines, and he handled everything thoughtfully — from walks and feeding schedules to bedtime quirks and crate routines. He kept us updated regularly, was very communicative, and left our home in great condition. The dogs were happy, calm, and well cared for when we returned, which says everything. We would absolutely trust Francis again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable and caring dog sitter.

Schedule
I am fully remote and have a slightly more flexible schedule than most people. I have my own business in Maryland and I am exploring different ventures while in SF. My wife is here full time so I am also here. I have no issues with sitting or walking at any day or time as long as the appropriate advance notice is provided.

I care for others’ pets the way I would want my own to be cared for—with patience, attention, and respect. When house sitting, I ensure the home is kept clean and left in great condition. I make sure to not overstep in areas where I am not allowed and that instructions left for the pup's are followed. During walks, I stay highly attentive to each dog’s behavior and surroundings, watching for any potential risks such as approaching dogs or other hazards. I take proactive steps to keep them safe, avoid stressful situations, and always clean up after them. My priority is making sure every dog feels comfortable, secure, and well cared for.
Pets
A typical day
I enjoy making sure that your pets are stimulated and does not only go out on boring walks. If allowed, I make sure they get their daily dose of pets and cuddles, fetch, play time with toys, or running around in the park. If the pups are friendly enough, I try to get them to interact with other friendly dogs in the park.
