I work from home full time M-F 8-5:30 ish so I can walk or drop in in the afternoon and evening. I cannot do more than a 30 minute walk or drop ins at this time, sorry!

A typical day
In MA, the Fells, Whipple Hill, Mill Pond Reservoir, and Horn Pond are some of my favorite places to walk and hike. In VT I love walking the bike paths, Barre Town Forest, and Cow Pasture. I do plenty of neighborhood walks and I’m always on the lookout for new trails. I do not go to dog parks.

Hi there! I’m here because I genuinely love animals. My boyfriend and I share our lives with two Alaskan Malamutes, but in my heart there’s always room for more furry (or feathered!) friends. Over the years I’ve cared for all kinds of breeds, both big and small, including Labs, Huskies, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Chihuahuas, and Italian Water Dogs. One summer I even apprenticed at Mahoosuc Guide Service, where I helped with summer canoe trips and winter sled dog adventures. I have a soft spot for big dogs and I’m comfortable walking multiple strong pullers at once. If you’re local to the Barre area, you’ve probably seen me being walked by my own rather than the other way around! 🙃 I’ve been pet sitting on and off since August 2020, and my current (2025) work‑from‑home schedule allows me to take on occasional walk or drop‑in. Although I am from MA, I spend most of my time in VT at my boyfriend’s house. Rest assured, my Malamutes will not accompany me to your booking. If you don’t see the exact day or time you need, feel free to message me, I’m happy to see if we can work something out! Puppies I’ve handled puppies as young as one day old during my time at Mahoosuc Guide Service. While I’m not a professional trainer, I’m happy to follow your established routine, and I’ve even been known to teach a trick or two. Your puppy will be safe, loved, and well‑cared for. Dogs I can help with basic grooming and will happily spoil your dog with affection. If you’d like updates, I can send frequent messages and photos (my photography skills are decent, I promise!). Note: some clients have preferred text updates, which is why Rover shows my photo update rate as under 100%. Cats For cats, I can handle feeding, litter box cleaning or changing, and playtime or cuddles if they’re up for it. I’ve even walked a cat before! I don’t charge for a second cat, but for more than two cats, there’s a small additional fee of $5 per extra cat. Chickens Yes, chickens too! I have experience with backyard coops and can help with feeding, watering, and cleaning. I’m happy to trade help for a few fresh eggs, or work out a small fee depending on what you need.

Francesca is so patient with my girl! We got in late the night before her first visit with Athena and Athena was pretty spooked. Sadly, I had to work three days in a row and the house is full of boxes so that always freaks Athena out but by day three she got her to go outside! I was pretty certain she wasn’t going to do that until I had a chance to spend a couple days with her in the area. will definitely hire her again!
