ABOUT ME Needless to say, I’m here because I love animals. My boyfriend and I have two Malamutes but there’s always room for more. I’ve been around many breeds, large and small, including Labs, Huskies, Italian Water Dogs, etc. and spent one summer as an apprentice at Mahoosuc Guide Service (they offer summer canoe trips and winter sled dog trips). I especially love big dogs and can walk multiple at once, even if they pull. If you’re local to the Barre area, you’ve probably seen me being walked by the Malamutes 🙃. I’ve been pet sitting on and off from August 2020 to today. My current schedule (2024) allows me to do an occasional walk or drop in. I work from home. I live in MA but spend most of my time in VT visiting my boyfriend. The Malamutes would NOT come with me if you book me. If you do not see the day and time that you need available, please feel free to message me! PUPPIES I have experience with puppies from as young as 1 day old from when I worked at Mahoosuc Guide Service. I don’t have professional training experience but I keep up with a training routine already in place and I’ve been known to teach puppies a new trick or two. Your puppy will be safe and in good hands! DOGS I can do basic grooming and spoil your dog out of love. I can provide frequent updates with (semi-decent) pictures if you request it. Please note that I have sent pictures to some of my clients via text, which is why Rover registered my photo updates below 100%. CATS For cats I can do feedings, litter box cleaning/changing, and play time/cuddling if they are friendly. I have also walked a cat! Please note that while I don’t charge for a second cat, any additional cat after 2 will be an extra $5 per cat. CHICKENS Yes, you read that right! I have backyard chicken coop experience and I can offer basic help in exchange for eggs, or a small fee for things like refilling the feeder, water, and cleaning.

Francesca is so patient with my girl! We got in late the night before her first visit with Athena and Athena was pretty spooked. Sadly, I had to work three days in a row and the house is full of boxes so that always freaks Athena out but by day three she got her to go outside! I was pretty certain she wasn’t going to do that until I had a chance to spend a couple days with her in the area. will definitely hire her again!

A typical day
In MA, the Fells, Whipple Hill, Mill Pond Reservoir, and Horn Pond are some of my favorite places to walk and hike. In VT I love walking the bike paths, Barre Town Forest, and Cow Pasture. I do plenty of neighborhood walks and I’m always on the lookout for new trails. I do not go to dog parks.

I work from home full time M-F 8-5:30 ish so I can walk or drop in in the afternoon and evening. I cannot do more than a 30 minute walk or drop ins at this time, sorry!
