Hi, my name is Francesca, and working with animals is my calling. When I got my dog I found a bond that words could never explain, and when he was attacked and became reactive, it sparked a lifelong journey of learning. Working with him through his reactivity has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and I knew then without a doubt, that working with animals would be my forever path. A lot has changed since then, and I have made pet care and training my full time job. Shadowing under local trainers, taking online courses from recognized programs and trainers, behaviourists and medical professionals, continuing my education in pet nutrition, enrichment and puppy training- I love it all. Working with dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, ages, levels and challenges is a career that I am incredibly passionate and invested in, and I will never stop continuing my education. I have two long term areas of focus and study- the first being pet care services. My services are always tailored specifically to the needs of you and your dog. I take into consideration your dogs breed, environment, lifestyle, challenges and long term goals, to make sure my services will be perfectly matched to their needs. I believe that every interaction is a training opportunity, and a chance to make learning fun. It is never ‘just a walk’ with me. It is a chance to sniff new places, work on our leash manners, sneak in some basic training- all the while having a blast. I am well versed in working with dogs who face challenges like; reactivity, anxiety, under developed impulse control, senior dogs, dogs with mobility challenges. In short, I am the ideal candidate for anyone looking for the ultimate one on one experience for their dog. My second area of study and focus is the training of puppies. Creating customized programs for puppies is such a rewarding job, and being a key part of setting the foundation for puppy and owner to have a lifelong conversation, is something I am truly grateful for. I strongly believe that the best foundation for training any dog is a solid grasp on the basics, and helping owners and puppies make their foundation strong, sets them up for a lifetime of success. While dogs make up the majority of my clients, I would be remiss not to mention that I am a kitty mom to two beautiful felines. My handsome little Mylo was rescued from the streets of Qatar, and has really come out of his shell after seeing the ugly side of humans. My sassy tortie Steeve keeps us in our toes, and is an expert nap taker. I am experienced with kitties of all temperaments, and can shake a string like a true pro.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is my number one priority- always. I update my pet first aid every two years (even if the requirement is 3), as recently as August 2022. I carry a well stocked first aid kit, and am well prepared for a multitude of situations. I am comfortable and knowledgeable in regards to management techniques for dogs who require space, and will always advocate for your dogs needs. If you are looking for the perfect holiday house guest to keep your fur crew company while you are away- I am your gal! I am dedicated to keeping your fur pals in their daily routine as much as my schedule will allow, and am a world class snuggler. I pride myself in the care and respect I offer both my clients, and their homes. I can provide a number of options as far as frequency of daily visits, and am happy to provide many references. I am familiar with different diets including raw, and am experienced giving oral and topical medications. If let outs are more your dogs speed - say no more! I am well versed in a plethora of enrichment techniques and games that we can mix into some fun basic training work (shh, your dog will never know its training!) To summarize- if you are looking for someone who is invested in knowing your dog, and adapting to whatever makes them feel the safest, and most fulfilled- I am that person. My clients become family to me, and I am invested in their sucess, because it truly is my own. Francesca has been excellent with our puppy! Olive is quite a nervous dog and Frankie has been so patient with her. Booking has been easy and she is very flexible to your needs. We would absolutely reccomend Frankie!
Frankie did a great job of looking after our boy! On short notice, she stepped in and offered Kylo lots of play, care and safety.
Frankie was fantastic with our dog and cat .I felt totally relaxed leaving our pets in her care. Even when Nickie had a bit of a mishap , she took care of things. Will be booking her in future and recommending her to others I know.
We recently had Frankie stay with our 3 dogs for a week. She was fantastic! Right away you can see that she's a caring, gentle animal lover and our dogs certainly got the attention they needed. She sent us videos and pics which was wonderful and I know she did more than she had to.If you want to leave your "babies" with someone and take a worry free holiday, Frankie is your girl. Slim, Shady and Ruby miss you!
Francesca has been caring for our 5 1/2-year-old greyhound Walnuts since he came home with us last year, and we consider her part of our doggo team. Greyhounds can be very prone to separation anxiety, and our guy can be quite timid. My husband and I both work outside the home, and it was very important to us that Walnuts not be home alone all day, but he would never be a good fit for doggy daycare. Francesca comes to the house Mon-Fri, gives Walnuts a bio break and then spends her time focused on enrichment and confidence building. She brings puzzles, homemade high value treats, and most recently a sensory box on a bad-weather day! We have seen Walnuts blossom through his time with Francesca. Transition from a racing career to life as a pet can be tough for some greyhounds; we firmly believe that Francesca's skills and obvious love for her canine clients have contributed greatly to Walnuts' ability to be the goofy, smart, affectionate pup that he is today.
I met Frankie quite by chance through sniffspot. I am pawrent to a reactive pup and I use my yard as a safe space for other reactive pups and Frankie brought over one of her wonderful clients for a visit. We started chatting and I was looking to expand Luna(my pup’s) circle of people and Frankie took the time to get to know her and earn her trust. Now, Frankie is a constant in our household and I feel great knowing that there is someone I can trust with my pups for when life gets busy or we need to go away! Thank you Frankie. Schedule
Pet care and training is my business, and I am so grateful to be able to spend every day doing what truly makes me happy. If I’m not working with a dog, I am planning a session, studying through world renowned programs, and learning from my accredited peers- I am constantly sharpening my skills. During the weekdays, I book walking and drop in clients between the hours of 7 am to 5 pm. I spend most weekends working with my private one on one puppy clients, or with my family- but I am rarely too busy to adapt.
