Hi, my name is Francesca, and working with animals is my calling. When I got my dog I found a bond that words could never explain, and when he was attacked and became reactive, it sparked a lifelong journey of learning. Working with him through his reactivity has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and I knew then without a doubt, that working with animals would be my forever path. A lot has changed since then, and I have made pet care and training my full time job. Shadowing under local trainers, taking online courses from recognized programs and trainers, behaviourists and medical professionals, continuing my education in pet nutrition, enrichment and puppy training- I love it all. Working with dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, ages, levels and challenges is a career that I am incredibly passionate and invested in, and I will never stop continuing my education. I have two long term areas of focus and study- the first being pet care services. My services are always tailored specifically to the needs of you and your dog. I take into consideration your dogs breed, environment, lifestyle, challenges and long term goals, to make sure my services will be perfectly matched to their needs. I believe that every interaction is a training opportunity, and a chance to make learning fun. It is never ‘just a walk’ with me. It is a chance to sniff new places, work on our leash manners, sneak in some basic training- all the while having a blast. I am well versed in working with dogs who face challenges like; reactivity, anxiety, under developed impulse control, senior dogs, dogs with mobility challenges. In short, I am the ideal candidate for anyone looking for the ultimate one on one experience for their dog. My second area of study and focus is the training of puppies. Creating customized programs for puppies is such a rewarding job, and being a key part of setting the foundation for puppy and owner to have a lifelong conversation, is something I am truly grateful for. I strongly believe that the best foundation for training any dog is a solid grasp on the basics, and helping owners and puppies make their foundation strong, sets them up for a lifetime of success. While dogs make up the majority of my clients, I would be remiss not to mention that I am a kitty mom to two beautiful felines. My handsome little Mylo was rescued from the streets of Qatar, and has really come out of his shell after seeing the ugly side of humans. My sassy tortie Steeve keeps us in our toes, and is an expert nap taker. I am experienced with kitties of all temperaments, and can shake a string like a true pro.
