Gentle, Reliable Pet Care
Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I've cared for pets through every stage—from playful puppies/kittens to seniors and those with special medical needs. I cared for Annie, my distinguished senior dog, making sure she was comfortable and adjusting her care as she aged until she passed in my arms at 18. I also cared for Beauford, who had epilepsy, so I'm familiar with staying calm, following routines, and giving extra attention to pets who require specialized care. I've also shared my home with several cats over the years, including Tsuki and now Bruno, so I understand that every cat has their own unique personality, boundaries, and routine. Whether a cat is outgoing, shy, playful, or prefers a quiet hiding spot, I'm patient and let them settle in at their own pace. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I treat every animal like they're part of my own family and pay close attention to the little details that help them feel at home.

Schedule
Pet care is already a part of my everyday routine. I plan my days around feeding, cleaning, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe and comfortable. Because I work with a flexible schedule, I'm able to be home throughout the day to check in, provide companionship, and stick to each pet's normal routine as closely as possible. When caring for boarding cats, I make time for daily enrichment, litter box cleaning, fresh food and water, and one-on-one attention based on each cat's personality. Whether they want to play, cuddle, or simply have a quiet place to relax, I make sure they feel cared for while they're with me.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pets comfort and safety are my top priorities. I have a dedicated room where my resident cat, Bruno, stays during boarding. It's his favorite room in the apartment, and it allows your pet to have the rest of my home to explore and relax without feeling crowded. Bruno is neutered and up to date on all of his vaccinations. If you prefer and both pets are a good fit, we can discuss a slow, supervised introduction. Otherwise, they will remain completely separate for the duration of the stay. Bruno is great with other cats and dogs. Your pet will have access to my apartment (except Bruno's room) with a cozy area set up just for them, including toys, a cat tower, a comfortable bed, food and water bowls, and a clean litter box (if applicable). I keep my home clean, calm, and free of hazards, and all of my houseplants are pet-safe. I know every cat and pet has a different personality, so I let them settle in at their own pace. Whether they want to play, watch the birds and neighbors rom the window, or curl up for a nap, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout their stay. Regular photo updates are always included so you can see how your baby is doing while you're away.

A typical day
I like getting to know each pet and what they enjoy. If your dog loves to play, we'll play. If they just want to go for a walk and then nap on the couch, I'm happy to do that too. I don't think every pet needs the same routine. With cats, I'll bring out the wand toys, little mice, or anything else they like to play with. If they're more independent, I'm perfectly happy sitting with them while they do their own thing until they decide they want attention. Some cats want to be involved in everything you're doing, and some just want someone nearby. I'm good with both. My goal is just to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away.
