Information Frances D. would like to know about your pet

I'd like to know diet as well as the dogs routine, such as when fed and when are potty breaks. Also any medical issues that I need to be made aware of as well as allergies and behavioral issues such as anxieties and aggressions.

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks In Paxtuxent State Park across the street from our house. On the weekends we like to hike! We also have a huge backyard where we’ll play fetch! And Cash will play and play and play!!!! Your dog's sleeping arrangement If the dog has behavioral problems or is young I prefer a crate. However if the dog is well behaved he/she can sleep wherever they please Time I'll spend with your dog I will spend as much time possible with your dog so I can guarantee they receive the best care possible. Someone is almost home, and your dog will rarely be alone!!

Pet care experience

Hi my name is Fran. I’m a mostly stay at home Mom in Mt. Airy with a 3 year old and 6 year old and 1 year old. We live on 5 acres, all fenced, across from the state park and in addition to 2 dogs have horses, chickens, and an outside cat. Both me and my husband have owned dogs all our lives, and experienced in animal care. Professionally, I’ve worked as a barn manager, dog groomer, dog walker, trainer, and dog handler for an Iditarod musher! I’ve been pet sitting since I was 10 years old and absolutely love it!!!! I care greatly about dogs and make sure that they are well taken care of with plenty of love and exercise. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover all of my life. As a little kid my childhood dog was my constant companion and when I wasn't with him I was with the neighbors' dogs. In my twenties I moved to Alaska where I pursued a career in dog mushing and for two years lived with 120 dogs! Unfortunately due to frostbite I had to move back to the east coast. Meet my pets I have 2 dogs, Cash a one year old Australian Shepherd and Littles a 15 year old Boston terrier mix. Both love to play!! Cash is still a puppy and will play all day long!! He loves every dog he meets. Littles is 15 and recently lost his sight He’ll try to keep up with Cash but mostly just loves to sleep. I also have 2 horses, Shadow and Dandy (the love of my life) in their late twenties, some chickens, and a barn cat. About my yard I live on five acres across from Patuxent State Park. We have a huge fenced in backyard, with lots of trails in walking distance! My experience administering medication Yes I have no problem administering medication. Including injections

My pup had an incredible time at Frances’ house. Tons of space for my high-energy dog to run around. She was super kind and responsive. Will definitely be re-booking!

Marzipan had a great time with Fran and her family! It was so sweet-- they even included him in family Christmas! He came back to me with a very calm demeanor. She was very flexible when my flight time changed, I'm really grateful. I'd definitely recommend Fran and we'll be back for another stay. Thank you!!

Milo had a great time at Fran's! He and her dog Cash were well-matched playmates. Fran was flexible, communicative, and very thorough about detailing Milo's stay. Thanks, Fran!
