Loving family care and rural walks
I am a long-time dog lover and have owned our 11 year old Labrador, Pepper, since she was a puppy. I have always loved spending time with animals and as a self-employed Business Psychologist, I love the company of dogs while I work from home during the day. Because we have had our Labrador since she was a puppy, I am comfortable and confident with dogs both young and old, and am able to accommodate medium and bigger dogs in our home.

From the moment of meeting Fran and her family we were instantly reassured Patch would be in great hands for the weekend. He settled and made himself at home straight away. We had regular updates photos and videos to keep our mind at rest that our dog was having the best time. He’s a big lively boy and Fran was perfect with him and had him sussed in a few minutes. We would highly recommend Fran to take care of your dog and give you complete peace of mind.
Absolutely amazing dog sitter! It has taken me 3 years to find someone who loves Izzy as much as we do and is understanding of her needs. Fran is such a lovely person who goes out of her way to provide a home from home environment for pets. Izzy had lots of walks and interaction with Fran and her family. She came back shattered! We received lots of messages and videos to reassure us which was great as it was the first time she was away overnight- and didn't stay with a family member. Thank you Fran! Xxx

Fran and the entire family (including Pepper the Labrador) were absolutely amazing looking after our Leo for a week. 🥰 We felt completely reassured that he was being loved and cared for throughout, with regular communication keeping us in the loop. It was truly a home away from home for Leo and Fran was incredibly attuned to his needs and little quirks. He can’t wait to come back! 😊

Schedule
With my children at school during the day, I have a calm home environment shared with our friendly family Labrador Pepper, making us the ideal choice for day time care and longer boarding stays at our house. I work from home so I'm available all day for your dog. Our own dog Pepper is the friendliest pooch who absolutely loves having friends to stay and play. While staying with us, your dog will enjoy daily walks (morning + afternoon) in the fields near our house with plenty of opportunities for secure off lead runabouts (to be pre-agreed with you - if you prefer for your dog to stay on the lead, I can accommodate this of course). Your dog will also enjoy unlimited play time in our large, securely fenced garden and a loving, playful family environment so that they feel safe, cherished and secure while you're away. I will feed your dog in line with your usual feeding routine for them.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog will be welcomed as a member of our family, joining our walks in the fields nearby and able to snooze on the sofas when they need a nap. Our garden is large and secure, so regular play and toilet breaks are provided easily. Our dog Pepper sleeps in the utility room so your dog can have the choice of a sofa or their own bed in our family living room overnight. As a long-time dog owner, I take the safety and security of your pet incredibly seriously and will treat them as my own during their stay.

A typical day
Walks in the fields the morning and afternoon - I will tailor this to your dog's needs. Happy to walk as much or as little as they need, on or off-lead. Play with the children - throwing balls in the garden and plenty of fuss! Our kids are 4 and 7 years old and have grown up with dogs. They are used to being around large and small dogs and are respectful of how to interact with animals safely. Sofas for snoozing as needed! We also have tonnes of dog toys and treats which your dog can enjoy while staying with us.
