Love to care for your animals
Local "Dog Whisperer" has vet experience. I'll have your dog or cat loving their new best friend right off the bat. Available for one or two dogs at a time for walking. I'm service oriented and will strive to provide the best in customer satisfaction. I'll gladly travel anywhere within Chico. I utilize my psychology experience (B.A.), plus 20 years in retail and 6 years as a public advocate to create the best environment for you and your dog. Will gladly provide basic grooming, ex. bathing and grooming upon request. I'm healthy, active and recently retired. I've lived in Chico for 25 years. References are available. I worked with veterinarians prior to completing my university studies. This line of work was my absolutely favorite job, and I'm returning to pet care for my retirement side hustle.

Forest was great! (And so was his wife, Norma). I live on the San Francisco side of the bay, had a work appointment in Chico that was to last three-to-four hours, and then was heading on to see a friend in Oregon. I needed care in Chico for a window of six hours for my dog, Ichi. I reached out to Forest. He responded immediately. He assured me when I asked that he doesn't mix dogs from different households, which was a relief to me. (Ichi is a senior dog, had undergone surgery for a dental issue the previous week and was still healing.) I booked the care, and when I arrived, Forest was out front waiting for us. While I was gone, Forest took Ichi on a walk and had Ichi on the couch with him otherwise. It was perfect for Ichi, and worked perfectly for me. Both Forest and Norma were delightful, excellent communicators, trustworthy, and I would use them again for Ichi's care in a heartbeat if/when in Chico again. Thank you Forest!

Forest is a talented and conscientious dog sitter. Louie was well cared for for two weeks while we were on vacation out of the country. He communicated with us daily and made sure that Louie got plenty of exercise. I highly recommend Forest as top notch sitter.

Schedule
This is my retirement job. I'm available in the mornings starting as early as 7 and throughout the day until 9. Dogs make me smile, any time of day or night. Cats make me curious.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a small secure, fenced yard, and use Bidwell Park, located one block away, for exercise. I have crates, beds, pads and extra gear if needed.
A typical day
Walking with dogs is my #1 activity. I know of great spots in Bidwell Park. I might also go to the USFS Tree Seed Farm near Home Depot or Community Park.
