Dog Experience
I am a training veterinary student with a lifelong passion for dogs and hands-on experience caring for them in a variety of settings. Growing up with dogs has given me a strong understanding of their behaviour, daily care needs, and the importance of patience and consistency when handling animals. Over the years, neighbours and family friends have regularly relied on me to visit, walk, feed, and care for their dogs while they were away, which has helped me develop responsibility, trustworthiness, and confidence working independently with animals. I have also cared for young puppies, including feeding, socialising, cleaning, and monitoring their wellbeing, which has strengthened my understanding of early development and animal welfare. Through both my personal experience and veterinary training, I have developed skills in animal handling, communication, observation, recognising signs of stress or illness, and providing attentive, compassionate care.

We couldn't have asked for a better catsitter than Florence! She was absolutely wonderful with our older cat, Smokey, and put our minds completely at ease while we were away. Florence was incredibly reliable, prompt, and kept us updated with clear, frequent communication. We especially loved receiving photos of Smokey during every visit, which was such a lovely touch. We also really appreciated how she kept everything clean and tidy throughout her stay. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for attentive and professional care for their cat!
Me and Sushi had a fantastic experience with Florence. Sushi was so well looked after and has made a new best friend! Communication was excellent, I really appreciated all the photos and videos, Sushi looked so relaxed and at ease and it meant I felt at ease being away. I would absolutely recommend Florence and will be looking to use her again in the future! Thank you!!
Florence was amazing with our cat Derek! Derek immediately took to Florence, and Florence took really good care of him. We were sent updates and pictures which helped put our mind at ease while we were away. Derek clearly enjoyed all the fuss and attention! We will definitely book again.
Florence has been AMAZING with our nervous doggo, Nina. Really patient, understanding, considerate and accommodating to all of us. She made brilliant progress with Nina in a short time, and clearly has a great connection with animals. Very grateful to have come across Florence on here :)
