I am home most of the day during the week. Weekends can vary but I am out some days for some errands but no more than 2-3 hours at a time. When I am dog sitting I make sure to plan accordingly.

I do not have a fenced yard so I will provide quality walks. During times I am not home I will have your dog crated. I do not accept more than one dog to sit at a time so there will never be a time where your god is unattended with another dog.

Safety is very important, please let me know if there are any behavior issues or triggers I should know about, specifically around other dogs. I do not plan to have your pup around other animals but it would just be good to know. I also have a 6 year old who loves pups so your dog must be ok with children. I will require a meet and greet before any bookings. Thank you !
A typical day
There is a dog play area next to my house that I like to frequent daily when the weather permits. So your pup will get plenty of exercise and fresh air. I will only bring your pup when there are no other dogs in play area.

*2026 Update* Hi! I’m excited to be back to dog sitting after taking a much-needed break while life was happening. I no longer have my own dog, as he had to be rehomed due to health-related needs, and I miss him deeply. Dog sitting feels like the perfect happy medium for me right now because I truly miss having a furry friend around. I’m home most of the day, so your dog will get lots of attention, care, and companionship. While I do not have a fenced yard, I make up for it with regular, quality walks and plenty of outdoor time. I’ll treat your dog with patience, love, and the same care I would want for my own.

Florence is a warm caring person and Clover was quickly very comfortable in her home! She looked like she received plenty of attention and I received heartwarming pictures throughout her stay that really put me at ease and made me smile. I will call on her again for sure!!
1st time leaving our puppy for an extended period of time (8 days/7 nights). Florence kept us updated with text and videos. She took great care of our baby and treated her like her own. We had a great Spring break and so did our C.C.
First time leaving our dog with a sitter. Whole family was a little apprehensive, since we didn't know what to expect with how our dog would behave. Florence kept us updated with text, pictures and videos. We felt at ease to see that our baby looked comfortable, behaving and getting along well with Florence's dog. Florence is an excellent sitter! I have used her 3 times for my doberman and maltese. She is kind, gentle, and sent me pictures everyday! My maltese has alot of mouth issues and requires daily oral care . Florence has always been kind enough to follow his regimen which is really important to me . CON : she moved away from NY :(
