I would like to know what ticks them off, what spots not to touch, and any other specific things the dog may not like to avoid doing them. If I am walking them, are they friendly towards other animals?
A typical day
I ask the owner what the animal likes to do. Are they lazy? Active? Hyper? When walking, I take the dog up and down the neighborhood sidewalks. I make sure that if the temperatures are too high, that they have the proper gear on their paws.

Hello! My name is Flora, I’m 23 years old, and I live in Decatur. I have a cat myself and a love for all animals! I’m dedicated to walking and caring for your dog in any weather—rain or shine, hot or cold. I understand that for many owners, pets are truly family, and I treat them with that same care and attention. I have experience handling up to four dogs at once (all pitbulls!) and can meet any specific needs your dog may have. I’ve also taken care of my sister’s pitbull puppy, which taught me that if I can manage his energy, I’m ready for any dog’s personality! Feel free to leave a note or send a text with any instructions, and I’ll make sure it’s all taken care of. Thank you for considering me—I really appreciate it!

Flora was so great! This was our first time using rover and she was so attentive and communicative. I cannot recommend her enough!
Disappointed, Flora was not the correct match for our dog/house-sitting needs. I felt I was clear that we needed her to be there with the dogs in the evening and overnight, which is why I booked a house sit NOT drop in. 3 pm-3 pm the next day. She dropped in to feed them around 6 pm for 15 minutes and returned around 11:30 pm to stay the night. She left in the morning and did not return. I had an early flight so my dogs were alone for over 18 hours. I also asked if she would bring 2 packages and put them in the laundry room. She brought them in when she fed them and put them on a bench where the dogs could easily reach them. She did not seem to understand my concern about my dog destroying or eating the packages and did not return promptly to get them out of reach.
Flora was amazing with my 2 huskies! I would highly recommend using Flora to watch your animals ! Of my dogs is a 6mo. Old puppy and the other is 8yrs. old. She stayed with them for three nights, took them on two walks and even ran with them. They were both sick with coughs and she was great to make sure they had their medicine. She took great photos of them and sent to me daily, she also reached out if she had any questions, I would definitely recommend Flora and will be using her again in the near future !
