Loving Care for Pups of All Ages
Hi, I’m Flora! To me, dogs aren't pets, they are family. Caring for them is one of my greatest joys in life. My husband and I love welcoming dogs into our home for daycare and overnight boarding, giving them all the love, fuss, and attention they deserve! I also offer dog walking for pups who just need a good stretch and explore. My love for dogs comes from years of hands-on experience with all ages and temperaments, from bouncy puppies to gentle seniors. I spent nine wonderful years with my rescue Boston Terrier, I adopted her when she was four and we were inseparable until she passed away at 13. As an ex-breeder, she came to me with quite a few health challenges, especially during her prime years, so I am very accustomed to special, care routines, giving extra TLC, and administering medications. Seniors & Special Needs Welcome: Because of my sweet girl, senior dogs hold a very special place in my heart. I’m always happy to carry older pups up the stairs to our flat, adapt to slow-paced routines, and I even have movable stairs for easy access to the sofa and bed and a dog pram ready for tired paws that still love a bit of fresh air! What makes our home a doggy paradise: Constant Companionship: I work from home full-time, so your dog will never feel lonely and will enjoy cuddles and company all day long. Sofa Privileges & Cuddles: Dogs are family members here! They are more than welcome to snuggle up on the sofa or nap wherever they’re most comfortable. Spacious & Secure: Our flat features a large open-plan layout with wooden floors and a safe, private terrace for lounging. 100% Focused Care: It’s just my husband and me, no flatmates, no busy household stress, and no other resident pets. Your dog gets our complete, undivided affection. I love getting to know every dog’s unique personality. I know how hard it can be to leave your best friend somewhere new, but I promise to take the best care of them and love them like my own!

Moka had such a lovely stay with Flora, and was clearly surrounded by so much love and care. It made me so happy to see how relaxed and comfortable she was, and I felt completely reassured the whole time. The level of care, attention, and communication was wonderful, and it was clear she was treated like part of the family. I would absolutely love to book again and highly recommend Flora.

Flora is an amazing sitter! She is always super accommodating and quick to reply. I know Luther will be well taken care of, walked, and receives lots of cuddles when Flora looks after him.
Flora was really accommodating at the last minute and made Lance feel right at home
Max had a great day with Flora. He didn’t seem to want to leave at the end of the day! Flora’s communication was also really good throughout.

Schedule
Because I work from home full-time, pet care isn't something I have to squeeze into my day, it is an active part of my daily routine! I structure my workday around regular toilet breaks, playtime, and walks. My calendar is kept up to date for daycare and boarding, and since I’m home all day, guest dogs enjoy constant company, regular attention, and a consistent routine that keeps them feeling relaxed and secure.

A typical day starts with a morning relief break and a gentle walk or terrace session, followed by breakfast. While I work from my home desk, dogs are free to stretch out on our wooden floors or curl up next to me on the sofa for midday cuddles. Throughout the day, we take regular breaks for fresh air, belly rubs, and play. For older or less mobile dogs, I provide slow-paced comfort care, carrying them up our first-floor stairs as needed and using my dog pram if they'd like a low-effort stroll. Evenings are dedicated to relaxing together on the couch with plenty of fuss before bedtime (where they are more than welcome to sleep in the bed!)
A typical day
I tailor our activities entirely to each dog's personality and energy level! Bouncy pups love interactive toy play, tug-of-war, and exploring the neighborhood on neighborhood walks. For senior dogs or those who prefer a gentler pace, sunbathing on our safe, private terrace, brain-stimulating puzzle games, soft cuddle sessions on the sofa, or taking a relaxed neighbourhood ride in my dog pram to take in all the sights and sniffs without tiring their paws!
