Hi! My name is Fleur, and I’m a qualified Veterinary Nurse with a lifelong love for animals of all kinds — from dogs and cats to horses. Caring for animals isn’t just my job, it’s something I’m genuinely passionate about. I have many years of hands-on experience working with animals of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’m confident caring for dogs and cats of all ages, from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets, as well as pets with medical or special needs. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing are always my top priority. I’m very active and outdoorsy, and I love getting outside no matter the weather — raincoats and muddy boots included! I believe regular exercise, enrichment, and affection are key to happy, relaxed pets. I offer dog walking, drop-ins, house sitting, cat care, doggy day care, and overnight care. While I feel most dogs are happiest and least stressed in their own familiar environment, I can offer doggy day care at my home for shorter stays if needed. I’m also happy to stay during the day or overnight at your home to care for your pets. My availability is generally very flexible, though it can occasionally change due to other veterinary work — feel free to message me to check current availability. Overnight rates may vary depending on the length of stay and number of pets, so please reach out for a personalised quote. I drive and have my own car, and I’m more than happy to travel. Fleur is the best. I never am worried knowing she's checking in on our cat. We get photos and little updates and it puts my mind at ease. And our cat loves her. I'll never book anyone else as long as Fleur is available 🥰
Fluer was amazing with our Phoenix. She looked after him very well, spent some time playing with him alongwith feeding and cleaning out the litter. Thank you, and hopefully we see you again soon!

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. As a Veterinary Nurse, caring for animals is already a core part of my life, and I structure my schedule around ensuring each pet receives consistent, attentive care. I currently have flexible availability, which allows me to accommodate regular walks, drop-in visits, day care, and overnight stays. While my schedule can occasionally change due to other veterinary work, I always communicate clearly and in advance, and I only accept bookings I know I can fully commit to.

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing are always my top priorities. As a qualified Veterinary Nurse, I’m trained to recognise signs of stress, illness, or injury and to respond calmly and appropriately. When caring for pets, I follow their usual routine closely, including feeding, exercise, medications, and any special requirements. I ensure your pet is kept secure and provide regular updates for peace of mind. While in my care pets are cared for in a calm, clean, and supervised environment, with plenty of attention, enrichment, and rest. I use gentle, positive handling and only accept pets I know I can safely and comfortably care for.
A typical day
I love keeping pets happy, engaged, and relaxed through a mix of exercise, play, and enrichment. For dogs, this includes walks tailored to their energy level, outdoor adventures, playtime with toys, basic training reinforcement, and plenty of cuddles and downtime. For cats, I focus on interactive play (such as wand toys or puzzle games), enrichment, and calm companionship, always following their individual preferences — whether that’s play, affection, or quiet time. I also enjoy incorporating mental stimulation into daily care, such as enrichment toys, scent work on walks, and gentle training where appropriate. Most importantly, I make sure activities suit each pet’s age, personality, and health needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
