Pets are family members too
Lifelong pet lover. I have experience taking care of cats and dogs that need some TLC (medication, wounds cleaned, help getting up and down stairs, separation anxiety or just need some extra love and attention). I have experience taking care of young and senior pets and pets needing medicine. I like to send daily updates + pictures to the pet owner. When I pet sit I treat the pets like family making sure they are happy. If the pet is used to a specific routine, I make sure to follow it. If I can fit in some extra walks I try to. I love to cuddle on the sofa or in bed with cats or dogs or just sit on the floor with them : giving them belly rubs, brushing them or throwing the ball, especially when the pet may be anxious and need a little more love.

Safety, trust & environment
When I stay at a client 's home I make sure when they return that their pet(s) are happy and safe and their home (is clean). If requested I make sure the mail and trash/recycling are also taken care of and plants watered (bird feeders filled).

Can always count on Fleur to give us a peace of mind while we were away for our longest trip yet. Basie gets so much love and attention and he in return gives Fleur lots of laughs. Feeling grateful.
Fleur was great with my kitty Boo! She was patient when he was being shy and spent a lot of time with him each day during the drop-in visits. He even ended up sitting on her lap, which is something he never does with people that are not family. I will definitely use Fleur again and would highly recommend her to care for your fur babies.

Fleur was fantastic! She's a wonderful communicator who sent us plenty of photos and updates throughout our trip. We always knew our dogs were happy and in good hands. We came home to very happy doggies and a spotless house! You really couldn't tell anyone had stayed there. Beyond being reliable and organized, she's just a lovely person who clearly loves dogs. We'd book her again in a heartbeat and recommend her without hesitation!
Ms. Fleur is an absolute delight to work with. She did a great job sitting for my 2 kitties, going above and beyond my expectations -especially with my uber sensitive/scared/cranky older cat who suffers from stage 3 kidney disease. She of course fights taking her meds and Fleur went out of her way to make it happen.
Can always count on Fleur to give us a peace of mind when we are away. We returned to a very happy yet relaxed boy, which is a product of how at home Basie feels with Fleur along with daily exercise he gets. Feeling very appreciative.

Schedule
I work full time but my schedule is flexible enough for me to stay overnight and be away for no more than 6 hours at a time, most days no more than 4 hours at a time. On weekends I like to stay with the pets and give them all my attention. If the owner's return is delayed, I make sure that the pet's care is not affected and work with the pet owner's schedule so that the pet is not alone.

- Let me know if your pet has special needs or any restrictions. I need to meet the pet in their home before agreeing to pet sit. The dog needs to be trained to walk on a leash and if possible know basic commands.
