I work full time but my schedule is flexible enough for me to stay overnight and be away for no more than 6 hours at a time, most days no more than 4 hours at a time. On weekends I like to stay with the pets and give them all my attention. If the owner's return is delayed, I make sure that the pet's care is not affected and work with the pet owner's schedule so that the pet is not alone.

When I stay at a client 's home I make sure when they return that their pet(s) are happy and safe and their home (is clean). If requested I make sure the mail and trash/recycling are also taken care of and plants watered (bird feeders filled).

Let me know if your pet has special needs or any restrictions. I need to meet the pet in their home before agreeing to pet sit. The dog needs to be trained to walk on a leash and if possible know basic commands.
A typical day
I love to go for walks with dogs (or cats if they are trained to be on a leash) around the neighborhood, in their favorite park, or just play fetch outside in the yard. When the weather is bad (freezing cold or extremely hot) I like just hanging out with the pet inside and keep them busy. If the pet likes to snuggle I will give them lots of snuggles. If they like to be brushed, I will brush them. If they like belly rubs, i will give them lots and lots of belly rubs. When there are more than 1 dog I try to give each of them one 1:1 walk per day and individual snuggles. The other walks are two at a time. When it is extremely hot outside, I make sure the pet(s) have enough fresh water and are comfortable (if necessary I can bring my mini air cooler). I try to spend as much time as possible with the pets, and not leave them alone for too long.

Lifelong pet lover. I have experience taking care of cats and dogs that need some TLC (medication, wounds cleaned, help getting up and down stairs, separation anxiety or just need some extra love and attention). I have experience taking care of young and senior pets and pets needing medicine. I like to send daily updates + pictures to the pet owner. When I pet sit I treat the pets like family making sure they are happy. If the pet is used to a specific routine, I make sure to follow it. If I can fit in some extra walks I try to. I love to cuddle on the sofa or in bed with cats or dogs or just sit on the floor with them : giving them belly rubs, brushing them or throwing the ball, especially when the pet may be anxious and need a little more love.

Fleur was very attentive to my cats, asked great questions at our meet and greet, and sent lots of pictures to me while I was out of town, which was much appreciated. She obviously loves cats, and I felt great leaving them in her care.
Fleur is beyond amazing. The day my wife and I left for a four night trip we learned of a serious health concern with our beloved elderly cat, Chubbs. After speaking to the vet, we seriously considered turning around and coming home (missing a wedding) as she was in need of additional vet visits and hands on care. We called Fleur, and she went so far above and beyond any reasonable expectations, taking Chubbs to two vet visits, and administering IV fluids multiple times, and showing Chubbs and our other cat so much love in the process. Beyond this, she is an amazing communicator, giving frequent status updates, adorable pictures, and providing the most peace of mind possible in such a tough situation. Fleur is our go to care taker for our dog, Nelly. This time Nelly was sick and having digestive issues. Fleur took incredible care of Nelly including making her white rice and getting pure pumpkin to help her stomach. She stayed up with Nelly all night and make sure she was as comfy as possible. We are so grateful that Nelly was in such good hands!
