Loving, experienced and reliable
I’ve always had a special connection with animals. I had my own dog for 10 years, until he passed away this past January, and I still miss him every day. Back in France, I regularly looked after my neighbours’ and friends’ dogs, so I’m already used to pet sitting and caring for dogs with different personalities, ages and needs. I moved to the UK in January and currently work in home care, which has taught me to be patient, responsible and attentive to the needs of others. Although I enjoy my work, animals have always been my real passion. I’d love to spend more of my time around dogs, giving them the attention, affection and care they deserve. I’m reliable, punctual and attentive, and I always take the time to understand each dog’s personality, routine and little habits. My goal is for every dog in my care to feel safe, happy and loved while they’re with me.

Schedule
I currently work as a home care worker, but I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to spend with pets. At the moment, I’m generally available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, with some extra availability depending on my rota. From October, I’ll be working mostly in the evenings from 3pm onwards, so I’ll have my mornings and daytime free for walks, visits and pet sitting. I’m hoping to eventually make pet sitting my full-time job. For now, I’m keeping my work in home care while I build up my pet-sitting experience and meet more lovely pets and their owners. Once I have enough regular bookings, my goal is to dedicate myself to pet sitting full-time. I genuinely love spending time with animals and would much rather spend my day going for walks, playing and giving pets lots of attention! I’m reliable, caring and happy to adapt to each pet’s individual routine and needs.

Safety, trust & environment
My home is a safe, comfortable and spacious place where pets can feel relaxed and at home. I have a fully enclosed garden, so dogs can enjoy some outdoor time safely, as well as plenty of space inside the house to rest and settle in. I also have a very friendly and independent cat who is used to sharing her space with other animals. She spends a lot of time outdoors and likes having her own little routine, so she is not constantly around other pets. She lived happily alongside my dog for three years, so I’m used to helping animals get comfortable with each other and respecting their individual boundaries. Every pet is different, so I always take the time to understand their personality, routine and needs. Whether they are energetic and playful, shy and nervous, or simply prefer their own space, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable and cared for. When looking after a pet in their own home, I’m happy to follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including their feeding times, walks, playtime and any other instructions from their owner. My priority is always that pets feel safe, loved and relaxed while their owners are away.

A typical day
Every day is a little different depending on the pet’s personality, age and needs. I like to make sure they feel comfortable and have plenty of attention throughout the day. With dogs, I enjoy going for walks, exploring new places and playing games like fetch or hide-and-seek. With cats, I enjoy playing with them, giving them attention and letting them have their own space when they need it. My goal is to make sure every pet has a fun, safe and happy day while keeping their usual routine as much as possible.

- Before looking after a pet, I always take the time to learn about their individual needs and habits. I ask the owner about their routine, food, walks, favourite activities, personality and anything they may be nervous or uncomfortable with. I also make sure I understand any special instructions and know what to do in case something unexpected happens. Every pet is different, so I believe it is important to listen to the owner and get to know the animal properly.
