In desperate need of doggy cuddles
I’ve taken care of all types of animals my entire life from dogs all the way to alpacas! I grew up riding and taking care of horses since I was 6 which came with learning about how different animals communicate. I also grew up with 2 Jack Russell’s who were both my best friends until they passed from old age. I am luckily the only member of my family who isn’t allergic to cats, I think it’s because my grandmother had 20+ cats when I was a kid, and I made it my personal goal to befriend every single one. I love animals and I promise I will love your dog, cat, fish, snake, etc just as much! If you do happen to have a pet that is not a dog that needs to be watched let me know, and we can work something out!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Flannery! We hired her to stay with our dog on our wedding day, and she went above and beyond in every way. Not only did she keep him happy, safe, and cared for all day, but she was also so gracious in waiting with him on the beach so he could be part of our wedding photos after the ceremony. It meant the world to us to have our pup included in such a special moment, and it wouldn’t have been possible without her. She was professional, reliable, and incredibly kind. I would trust her with our dog a thousand times over and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will love and care for their pet like their own.

Flannery is phenomenal! Rodi, my one year old Yorkie, wants attention and to play all day long. Flannery kept Rodi occupied with new experiences throughout Flannery’s daytime and evening activities. I’m grateful the dog was not left alone. The biggest compliment I can give Flannery is that when I picked the dog up, I barely got a greeting. This behavior tells me the dog had a wonderful time - without me! I highly recommend Flannery and if I need doggie daycare in the future I will certainly contact her. Thank you Flannery!
Flannery was wonderful! She was able to take my pup pretty last minute and was very communicative while I was away. Titan was very well cared for and I received photo updates frequently. Will definitely trust her with my fur baby any time!

Schedule
I currently work full time at a vet as a veterinary assistant in Buxton Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. My schedule is limited but I am free on weekends and Wednesdays. With being a vet assistant I am comfortable administering certain medications and familiar with animals with diabetes! Please try to schedule a week out from your vacation to the Outer Banks or if you’re a resident please let me know when you book.

Returnees, I have moved!! I live in a house with one other roommate with a backyard and space to play. My boyfriend’s dog Axel also loves to join when watching other dogs as long as they’re friendly.
A typical day
I enjoy running and I’m always looking for a running buddy with permission of course. I frequently go on walks on my own in Nags Head woods, the Wright brothers memorial, and of course walks along the beach!
