I believe safety and trust and the top two most important things when working with animals (and pet parents). With my previous training in working with dogs I am familiar with all sorts of safety measures to keep both pets and I safe! From safe handling to experience in crate training and muzzles for walking, I'm familiar and confident in doing what it takes to set up your pet for success! Not only do I have the skill set of keeping animals in my care safe, i am also dedicated to building trust with pet parents. I am communicative and follow instructions well. I love providing updates while I'm caring for pets, especially pictures of all the fun we're up to. I do what I can to ensure everyone feels nothing but secure while I have their babies in my care! I understand the importance of medication, diet, and training! Each pet is different and I am willing and able to meet your pets individual needs.

Let me know about any health or anxiety related concerns and let me know how I can best adjust to their needs! I’ve worked with all sorts of health concerns from seizures to blindness and understand the importance of maintaining routine, medication, and training! I will also follow whatever training protocols in place, from how they walk on a leash to kennel training! Pups got an emotional support toy they need for bed time? On it! Cat needs exactly 7 treats at 9:30 PM every night? I’m your girl!
A typical day
Each pet and persons lifestyle is different, and I can adjust to each pet individually. If your pup is high energy and needs stimulation, we can use their favorite toys and toss the ball in the yard! No yard? No problem! I’m new here and would love to see the local sights. We’ll walk the neighborhood! Senior pup with low energy? I’ll bring a book and we can lounge around! I have no problem assisting pups wherever is needed. From supporting jumps onto the couch, giving medications, there’s nothing off limits to ensure the comfort of your babies. Shy and nervous? No worries there! I’ve worked with dogs of all kinds over the years. With that I’ve learned a lot about animal behavior and can pick up the signs when a pet wants to be left alone! If you simply need someone to feed your babe and ensure they’re well, no pressure here! I’ll respect their boundaries and do whatever their tolerate while still maintaining their care!

Pet care experience
I have experience with all sorts of animals and love all creatures with all my heart. I previously worked at a doggy day care, dog grooming for petsmart and private salons, and foster all kinds of animals. I've spent most my life caring for animals and nothing makes me happier. I have owned all sorts of animals from snakes to hedgehogs to cats to stick-bugs. I have a love and respect for all creatures and want nothing more than to be surrounded by animals any chance I can get. I am personally at my happiest when I'm around some sort of animal. I can't have a dog myself and would love to spoil someones pooch as if they're my own. I'm excited to meet all my new furry friends on Rover.

Fiona was great. Kept us informed when she was going to be gone from the house for longer than usual. Always communicated back quickly when we inquired about our fur babies. Would recommend.
I initially booked for house sitting so my girl wasn’t alone for 12 hours while I was at work but plans changed and I asked Fiona if she could just let her out for 30 minutes- she was very flexible! I so appreciate her.
