Hi! I’m Fiona, a lifelong dog lover and rescue dog mom. I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 11, when my family got our first dog, who was part of our family for 11 years. Since then, I’ve continued dog sitting and walking for neighbors, friends, and family, and now have a rescue pup of my own. I have experience caring for dogs of all different sizes and personalities, from small breeds like Dachshunds to medium-sized mixed breeds and larger dogs, including Labs and Pit Bulls up to 90 lbs. My own rescue can be timid and cautious around new people, so I understand firsthand that every dog has their own personality, boundaries, and comfort level. I take a patient, fear-aware approach and believe in meeting dogs where they are rather than forcing interaction before they’re comfortable

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll follow your care instructions and routine closely, including feeding, walks, medications if needed, and any specific household or safety guidelines. I understand that every dog has different boundaries and comfort levels, so I take a patient approach and allow them to interact with me at their own pace. During walks, I’ll always keep dogs securely leashed and remain attentive to their surroundings. I’ll also provide updates and photos during each visit so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away

Fiona is the most caring and devoted person I know. She LOVES all animals and treats every single one like like her own. She has always treated my dogs like family and she has become someone they get excited to see walk in the door (as does every single dog in our community). Her caring, responsible and fun loving personality would be a perfect fit for this job. I have no doubt that she would be a ray of sunshine for any dog, keeping their spirits high and their tails wagging
Fiona is absolutely wonderful with all dogs, specifically our family dog. Every time Fiona comes through the door, Oliver is beaming with excitement. He loves to play with his “Aunt Fifi” and she takes him on long walks and lets him smell every single plant along the way. Fiona semi-recently got her own dog, Lacey. She treats Lacey as if she is her own daughter and loves her so much. Luckily for Lacey, their building has a dog park! Lacey goes to the dog park everyday with her mom and is spoiled with toys, natural foods, and love. Fiona would be a great addition to your team and will brighten the days of all the dogs she encounters.
My dog is shy and dosent take to people easily but that was not a problem fiona was kind and patient with him and they now have an amazing bond. Fiona has been my dog sitter for years, she’s extremely trustworthy I would recommend her to anyone to watch over there dog.
Fiona is already an amazing dog mom to a rescue dog named Lacey!! She showers not just her dog but any other dog she encounters with enormous love. She always makes sure she is being respectable of both the dog and owner by asking if they can be pet before running up to the dog. She has amazing reads knowing when a dog is being overstimulated and needs space to relax or is ready to play and entertain them. Fiona meal preps weeks at time for her dog and ensures they are being fed health food only and ensuring they are getting ample decompression time on walks allowing dogs to not just walk/go to the bathroom but also sniff enough to stimulate their brain. There is no other person I would trust to watch any dog than Fiona

Schedule
I currently work remotely 3x a week, with only 2 days I’m the office. When I’m working remotely, I’m available all day. On the days I work in the office, I am available in the evening

- I’d love to know as much as possible about your dog before caring for them, including their normal routine, personality, energy level, favorite activities, and any fears or triggers. Please also let me know about any medical needs, medications, allergies, behavioral concerns, or anything else that will help me make them feel safe and comfortable. I’m especially understanding of dogs who may be shy or need a little extra time to warm up!
