Home from home - solo dog sits
We (my husband James and I) can offer a truly home from home experience and host solo dogs if preferred as we no longer have our own pets. We are huge dog lovers and have owned dogs since 2010 but our last one passed in Autumn 25. We love having dog guests to stay and they are treated like a part of the family. Over the past 5 years we have had repeat visits from a Rottweiler, Husky, Boxer and a pair of lovely Spaniels.

Fiona and her family were fantastic with our lively Crocker spaniel Monty! They kept him entertained loved and happy for 2 weeks. He was clearly kept on his usual routine as he is now back home and just as happy as he always been. It looks like Monty had a great holiday with Fiona's family while we were hiking in Spain. Thank you so much, Fiona! We will definitely look out for your dog care again when we need to go away! Thank you so much xx

Olive had such a lovely stay with Fiona and her family. They really went out of their way to make sure she was happy and cared for, and the photo updates were so reassuring, it was lovely seeing how much fun she was having on her walks and curled up on the sofa. Olive was so relaxed and content when we picked her up, it honestly felt like she didn’t want to leave! It was clear she’d been treated like part of the family. We’d definitely book with Fiona again.
Fiona, James and their daughters made our two dogs very welcome in their home and looked after them very well. We had regular photos and updates, and they have come home very relaxed and happy. They accommodated Dizzy (a rescue with issues with other dogs) very well, avoiding situations that could upset her. Thanks Fiona & James!
Fiona and her family are just the most amazing sitters…I could not recommend more highly!! Barney was so well looked after and I really hope they would have Barney again as I trust them implicitly xxx

Schedule
Between James and I, one of us will always be able to be at home when we have a dog guest as we work flexibly. We are an active family and have countryside walks right outside our door so we are happy to take our dog guests out for fun walks in fields and forests!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a decent sized secure garden with 6 ft wooden fences. We will happily work with dog owners to understand the routines which work for the dog to support and help them to settle with us.
A typical day
We live in a semi rural area so have lots of space for taking dog guests out for fun and simulating walks! We also enjoy running so can take dogs out for runs if this is something they enjoy. We are a dog loving family and also enjoy spending time giving cuddles and affection to our dog guests (if this is something they want! We know all dogs have different preferences)
