• I was raised with animals since i was a child. throughout the years, i’ve looked after dogs & cats of all sizes & ages, including puppies/kittens and seniors • I spent a summer working at a NYC-based doggie daycare & boarding facility • As a volunteer raiser for Canine Companions for Independence (CCI) 🦮, i raised a puppy, Amour, using positive reinforcement. She got quite far into the program but failed out due to being too food motivated, so I adopted her. She knows over 40+ commands now, and I can provide basic training for your pup if requested! i plan on being a certified trainer soon, and am always challenging myself to learn more so i can offer the best care possible • I’ve raised several cats and helped take care of my friends’ kitties as well

Fiona is amazing with my dog Goliath! He has special needs as he is a big dog and doesn’t play well with others but he loves her and she takes special care of him, bringing him treats and playing with him. She goes above and beyond what I could ask as a sitter. She comes to my home and takes care of him and I trust her completely!! She is always reliable. I couldn’t recommend her more highly!
Everything went super smoothly, the visits, communication, everything. No worries at all about leaving my two senior cats in Fiona’s care.

Schedule
I am currently doing this full time. I have some walks during the day but pets will always have company with either my partner and/or my dog Amour. I have a Furbo to keep an eye on them as well! My pup goes on 3 walks per day and my schedule is flexible, so I am able to adjust based on your pets needs!

- I approach everything with an open mind. Not all pets act the same around different people, therefore I highly encourage doing a meet & greet beforehand so we can determine if we’re a good fit for each other! It would be helpful to know the following: • 💊 Medical history: medications to give and special diets (including food & environmental allergies, and weight management) • 🐾 Behavior: bite history, anxiety, prey drive, destruction, triggers, resource guarding, street snacking? • 📆 Daily routine: exercise & playtime requirements, feeding schedule, bedtime and other habits • 👍 Likes & dislikes: where do they like to go or we should avoid? any favorite toys/treats? how do they feel about walking in different weather conditions? • 🏋️ Training: let me know what you want me to work on with them, including anything you want to discourage i.e. jumping when excited, licking faces, etc. I’m able to provide positive reinforcement training for over 40 commands. i’m also currently helping several dogs with reducing reactivity and can definitely see what i can do for your pup. - If you’re already doing your own training, please let me know how i can help with maintaining consistency in your routine! Honesty and communication from both of us are key to make this successful :)
