Hi! My name is Fiona and I have been with Rover for over 5 years now and personally caring for pets for over 10. I primarily care for dogs and cats but have also looked after bunnies. With my experience, I am comfortable adapting to any animal’s needs or demeanor-whether old, young, anxious, calm, etc. I have cared for it all! I strive to keep open communication with pet parents and believe in being a partner in providing the best care possible for your furry friend :)

Fiona is the absolute BEST! She’s so kind, clearly loves dogs, and does a phenomenal job of communicating and putting nervous owners at ease :) My dog can be shy at first and Fiona took the time to win her over (I’m pretty sure my dog was disappointed when she had to come back home to me lol). If you’re looking for someone to treat your fur baby like the special + valuable member of the family they are, Fiona is your sitter / walker / pup’s new bff. Already looking to book with her again!
Olivia had a wonderful time on her staycation with Fiona! And I appreciated Fiona's frequent updates and excellent care of my fur baby :). My vacation was carefree because I knew Olivia was in good hands!
Fiona was perfect for watching our cat this long weekend. She was very communicative and easy to get along with, to us and, more importantly, our cat. Thanks for caring for Beans while we were out of town!
Fiona did a great job with our two corgis! Not even sure they missed us while we were gone, they were very well cared for.
Fiona was outstanding! She stayed at our house with our senior pup, Franke when my husband and I had last-minute work trips. She was flexible enough to come over the week prior to meet him (and us) and go through his eye drop and medication schedule. She showed up on time - early AM! and Franke instantly settled in. She sent pictures and messages throughout the day and left the house cleaner than when she arrived. We look forward to having her out again in just about a week!
Fiona did a great job taking care of my 2 kitties while we were away for 10 days. They are very shy cats and I was so pleasantly surprised to see both of them greeting her each day. They rarely come out around new people. She sent me pictures every day which was so nice to see

Schedule
I am currently a graduate student taking classes in the evenings, so I am very available during the days and can do later at night. I live in the Navy Yard neighborhood but am willing to commute out for care. I am also available for housesitting all week if needed.

I keep a tidy home with little to get into providing a safe environment for dogs and cats. I have had foster cats and dogs stay in our home and all have loved it!
A typical day
I love taking dogs for walks and playing with any pet I am taking care of including fetch, laser pointers, and wrestling! When I am with animals, I tend to match their demeanor, so whether that’s cuddling on the couch watching TV or playing with toys, we’ll have a great time!
