I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember, working with pets of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. Over the past 8 years, I’ve volunteered in animal shelters (Lawrence Humane Society and Wayside Waifs), provided pet sitting for private clients, and worked with a Kansas City–based dog sitting company serving the KC metro area. This experience has helped me become reliable, adaptable, and confident handling a wide range of pet personalities and needs. I’m especially comfortable with puppies and younger dogs as my roommate and boyfriend both have dachshunds under 2, so I’m very familiar with puppy routines, training consistency, and all the energy (and patience!) that comes with them. Through my experience, including caring for my family’s anxious 9-year-old Staffordshire terrier, I’ve developed a strong understanding of pet behavior and emotional wellbeing. I know how important routine and consistency are, especially for pets in new environments, and I always do my best to maintain your pet’s normal schedule. I truly believe that you know your pet best, so I value clear communication and will follow any instructions you provide to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I am a psychology student at KU, and I have a flexible schedule!
