Safety, trust & environment

I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet and home. I’m mindful that I am a guest in your pet’s space and will be respectful of their needs. In your home, I’ll follow your pet’s usual routines to minimise stress - I will ask in advance for as much detail as possible and am happy to follow any nuances your pet is used to. With my own rescue dog, I’ve learned the value of patience, calmness, and gentle handling, which I bring to every animal in my care.

Information Fiona B. would like to know about your pet

Do let me know in advance of any special requirements for your pet that I can accommodate for. I will ask for their routine and schedule, including cue words before an activity, preferable games, favourite toys, and any quirks of your pet they may have in-between.

A typical day

I want to ensure dogs in my care are engaged and enjoying themselves, whether that's out on a walk exploring new areas, or in their home playing scent games. I'd love to know about their personality beforehand and am glad to tailor my approach to their likes and dislikes.

Professional Care for Pets & Plants

Pet care experience

Hello! I’m Fiona. I provide professional pet care backed by formal training in Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA). Whether your dog is a social butterfly or a sensitive soul, I offer walks and drop-ins tailored to their specific temperament. I started with my dog, Lola. As a rescue who needed (and still needs!) immense patience and consistent training, I realised how hard it was to find a walker who didn't just walk my dog, but actually reinforced her routine and training. I believe every pet is an individual. Whether your dog needs extra patience with their commands or continuity with their routine while you're away. I aim to provide a tailored 1:1 service as unique as they are. I am DBS checked, fully insured, and committed to clear, honest communication so you never have to worry when you can't be there. Beyond dogs, I have a lifetime of experience with small pets and exotics, including rabbits, ferrets, and reptiles (chameleons and tortoises). No matter the species, I prioritise your pets well-being. I run a professional indoor gardening and houseplant care business, which allows me to manage my own schedule, meaning I can easily adapt my day to mirror your pet’s existing routine. I also offer complimentary plant care, as a professional plant parent, I’m happy to ensure your greenery thrives while you’re away-from basic watering to specialised care. For your peace of mind, I hold a current, valid DBS certificate. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Fiona is lovely. She looked after our 3 cats visiting twice a day for a couple of days taking the time to listen to their needs and our preferences. They were clean, played with and well fed. I would definitely recommend and will be making a future request.

Fiona looked after my pet rabbit many times in my own home. She is a warm, friendly and reliable person and I would highly recommend her. She had no problems cleaning out the rabbit hutch and gave Speedy lots of attention and exercise when she looked after him.

Fiona has been absolutely fantastic walking and sitting my parents' dogs, a Saluki and a Jack Russell. From adventures in the forest, to runs along the beach, hikes up hills, and even short walks around the block for the older Jack Russell, the dogs love the different walks they get to go on with her!
