I work remotely, so I take my work with me and have a flexible schedule that allows for plenty of focus on the pets in my care. I love taking dogs for morning and evening walks to start and end my days, and any midday walk is a treat for me!

I ask pet parents about the pet’s typical routines to ensure as much consistency as possible, and I keep the home as tidy as I can during my stay, also taking care of any plants or bringing in mail as needed.

I have a list of questions for pet parents beforehand, including: - What does a typical day for your pet look like? What time do they wake up, eat, walk, play, go to bed? Ideally, how much playtime would they get? - What are their favorite activities, games, places, toys? - What treats do they like? How many treats can they get? - What commands do they know? What do those commands sound or look like? - How friendly are they with other dogs, kids, people? - Are there any areas of the house that they need to stay out of? - Are there any unusual behaviors I should be aware of? Are there any issues I should be on the lookout for? - How often would you like me to keep you updated about your pet? Would you like photo or video updates as well? - What is the emergency protocol for your pet in case of an accident? - How many hours is your pet comfortable being home alone?
A typical day
I always ask the pet parents what activities and outings their pets enjoy, and what their typical, comfy at-home routine looks like. Some activities could include games and puzzles at home, local neighborhood walks, dog parks, dog-friendly hikes, and visits to the local farmer’s market for treats and socialization.

Finn did an excellent job with our dog Felix! He did a meet and greet ahead of time and communicated quickly about arriving at the house, interactions with Felix, and any needs and concerns. He managed multiple medications, meals, and walks and Felix was a happy boy when we got home. 100% would recommend Finn! We were so comfortable with Finn and his professional care of our boy.
Finn is back at it again! Pigeon was taken care of and got plenty of exercise. We received many cute pictures of our boy while we were gone (per request). We had some issues with our travel and Finn was flexible with our uncertainty of timing. 10/10
Finn yet again did a great job house sitting and taking care of our Great Dane, Saxon. I have no worries when Finn is here, Thanks again for another fantastic job.
